A by Adrienne Landau Cape Coat with Faux Fur

This cape coat is a great fabric - beautiful colour - but the styling leaves a lot to be desired - no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get comfortable - as soon as you put your hands through the "sleeve" it starts to pull the cape - if you leave it open with your hands in the pockets you might get away with it but that's hardly practical - so disappointed but even at a rock bottom price I had to return it - just would never wear it. By the way, I know Ms. Landau is one great designer but she missed the boat with this one.

I found the closure at the neck awkward and the sleeve positioning very uncomfortable for practical use. The style is very glam and the quality good. The faux fur is lovely. Sorry, has to go back. Disappointed!!!

I am in agreement with aforementioned comments, my only regret about this cape is that I did not care for the machining around the bottom of the coat. Regular size was a little too big for me so I am returning however, a really lovely cape.

This is an incredibly stylish garment! I bought the charcoal colour and I'm delighted with it. The fabrication is so similar to real cashmere and I very much like the faux fur trim. I'm happy that we have another option for stylish faux fur with Adrienne Landau, she seems to be right on top of fashion.

This is every bit as nice as it looks. The fabric and fur are luxurious. However, the hook is high and may not feel comfortable to some people. I was able to drive, but I may not have had my hands through the holes. I wear it over leather jackets and coats for extra warmth and versatility. This is really great value even at regular price. It is a classic that will be in style for a long time.

Great quality cape.. very soft and luxurious to the touch. Unfortunately, it could do with some 'tweaking' to make it perfect. With the position of the 'sleeves', it is almost impossible to carry anything - movement is quite constricted. As for the closure, it is right up at the top of the neck, so when you close it, it feels almost chocking. For these reasons, I am sending it back.. wish it had worked out.

This is a really beautiful piece. It feels every bit as wonderful as my best cashmere coat and the faux fur is truly top quality. Unfortunately, the cape has no closures except for a small hook situated high up at the collar (imagining the cold wind blowing this open whilst on a walk...). Also, there is no way that I can get a purse over my shoulder or across the body when I am wearing this. Due to the positioning of the armholes, toward the front of the body, I cannot drive comfortably while wearing this item - so, it's not well suited for my lifestyle.

This piece is absolutely ideal for wearing over an outfit for an evening out or maybe just for a quick sprint between the car and the office (laptop case in hand...)
Still, it really is an exceptionally beautiful garment.
