Stamina® AeroPilates® Premier with Cardio Rebounder

Unlike some reviews, I had no problem setting the machine up. It folds perfectly and can be put away fairly easy too.
I use it almost every day! It makes me feel so good.
It's easy, you can't really make mistakes doing the exercises. The chart is well done and provides a lot of exercises.
All I need now is a new DVD. I've gone trough both in a very short time!

I am 55 years old and have had sciatic and shoulder pain on the right side for 4 years. I was told by my chiropractor that it was caused by an imbalance of muscle strength because so dominantly right handed. When I heard Marjoram say that Aeropilates forces you to work both sides of body equally, I knew I had to try it. I have had it for about a week and a half now, and am amazed at the change in my body! My sciatic pain is gone, and my shoulder is getting better every time I use the machine. I am not waking up stiff in the mornings anymore, either, and as a bonus I've had to put a belt on my jeans! I have hated exercise for as long as I can remember, but I actually look forward to getting on this machine. Rebounder is a blast!
I had no trouble putting it together by myself, and it didn't take very long at all.
My only complaint is the platform is not wide enough to put arms down without tucking them under. Wish platform wider, but minor inconvenience in light of being pain-free!!!

I almost did not order this as people had mentioned in earlier reviews that there were no instructions. Mine came with very good instructions. My hubby is a trucker and good thing he came home when it was delivered, as it is heavy and I could not life it. He also put it together and it took him almost 2 hours. My issue is I thought on TV it looked easy to store, but it is very heavy, and I cannot move it, so it is sitting in the middle of my l/r and I have to vaccumm around it, good thing I am alone when hubby is on the road! I LOVE the workout, WOW on the abs when you are rebounding!!! I am only going to keep it if I can find a permanet place for it, in our 1 bedroom apt! Otherwise I will have to send it back...but like mentioned earlier, what a hassle to unassemble, and return due to the weight!
If you have a permanent spot, or if you are strong enough to move it, then it is worth every penny!

First let me say this is only Aeropilates machine I have purchased - a couple of weeks ago - and already I have made these observances:-

1. The Aeropilates machine used on the video is obviously a deluxe model, as it is almost impossible to put your hands by your sides when doing arm (1/2) bends on the Performer 260, and replicating the instructors positions.

2. When doing leg stretches etc. one would almost always require the floor stand which lifts the machine up several inches. They elude as to how to get round this, but it might be more honest of them to actually give instruction using the machine they have sold you.

3. Not everyone has being doing pilates for years nor using this machine, so it would be helpful if they had longer pauses between exercises on the DVD to give you time to re-position...as it is I have to constantly pause, rewind etc just to follow along. I'm sure as I get more nimble that may change, but feel for Introduction and Level 1 it should be at a slower pace. I can understand once you graduate to Levels 2 and 3 that the pace then would be just fine.

4. Simply put, instesd of hoodwinking us into thinking that the Performer 260 allows the full range of positions and exercises comfortably and completely, they would be better offering one machine at a competetive price instead of offering add-ons and upgrades. I didn't realise there was more than one machine until I googled.

I am undecided as to whether I will keep this machine. It will be interesting to see how easy it is to return as it is very weighty and oh ..by the way they said it came fully assembled...balderdash. So will they take it back assembled (which means it will no longer fit in the shipping crate ...or will it have to be taken apart. HMMMM. This one almost always makes me hesitate before purchasing large and heavy items from the Shopping Channel. Anyone who has input and experience on this please comment.

the unit we received came with instructions which you definitely do need. They were clearcut and all parts were present. It took two seniors (70)1 1/2 hours to assemble but no mistakes and all the parts fit together properly. Ihave had back and neck surgeries for arthritic disease problems and this exerciser provides stress free workouts that are good for me but do not cripple me further.Love it and was glad we got directions as almost didn't buy it because of the hazzle others had.Thankyou tsc for getting the problem fixed as customer service for your products is what will get your customers to return shop....luv the pilates bench....thankyou

I hate to exercise in public. This is an excellent system to exercise the whole boby, including cardio, in the comfort and privacy of one's own home. I would like to warn people thinking of purchasing this system, however. It is very heavy and so is best if it can be left assembled in one location. It took me a while to be able to fold the machine easily for storage without being intimidated by the weight. Apart from that, I am very happy with the system.

I have a much older model - my mother bought this machine for me for my birthday in the mid-1990's and I have never loved a gift as much as I do this!! It is so well-made that it's still as good as the day it was delivered. And so whoever buys this new and improved version is really LUCKY!! (The rebounder is the best innovation, as it adds a whole new cardio aspect that strengthens your core.) Pilates is the only exercise that stretches as it strengthens. As we age, these two concepts become increasingly important. And it's the only exercise that I can do even right before I go to bed - it's so calming and soothing to the body and soul. It has also helped me recover from many injuries - a real life-changing and life-saving exercise machine. I thank my Mom every time I use it (she has one, too). One question: may I purchase a rebounder separately that will fit my old machine? It's the old, 3-cord machine on a stand (JP Pilates Performer) that is narrower than the usual models so I don't know if I can purchase a rebounder separately that would fit....THANK YOU, Marjolein, for bringing so much health and joy to AeroPilates users!!

I have had this machine for 3 years now and I still use it 3 to 4 times a week. It's great for rebounding and strecthing and rowing. I have the 3 workout DVD's that I purchased along with it. I think this is a supper addition to any workout! I have got my money's worth out of this machine.

I bought this machine about 4 weeks ago. I love it and I use it everyday. I haven't found anything that I don't like about it. It's very easy to use and is quite relaxing. I had problems getting it as the shopping channel shipped it to the wrong adress and it took forever to get here. So far I have gotten no satifaction from Customer Service and reading online a lot of others have had problems. I won't be ordering from the shopping channel again unless I get rebated the extra shipping charges.

This is my first experience on the pilates performer, and I have to say it is addictive. I find myself getting on it 3 & 4 times a day. I really enjoy the pure pilates workout. The rebounder is fantastic. It really works on your lower abs when you are rebounding. The one thing I would agree with one of the other reviewers is that the platform is a bit narrow. I am a fairly small person and I find that my arms barely fit on the platform, I think that a taller and larger person would have a hard time on the narrow carriage. I have been using this machine for about a week now, and I can see a noticeable difference in my waistline and my arms. They both have toned up considerably. I love this machine, but in hind sight I would have preferred to get the 4 or even 5 cord machine. The carriage would be wider and more comfortable, and the extra cords offer more versatility. Having said that this 3 cord machine is a good starter. I would recommend the 3 cord pilates performer to a friend but with the reservation that the carriage might be a bit narrow. One more thing I would like to add is, I am used to working out in the traditional way (with vigor)I soon realized that the pilates workout is very gentle, but still effective. Bottom line, get a pilates machine you won't regret it.
