Have used these products for a few weeks now, and am so pleased with the results. First of all, I couldn't believe the size of the containers. I expected trial size sample sizes, but not this time. The cleanser is extremely mild and the scent is fresh. I have very delicate skin and the cleanser has to be perfume free and gentle. This one is a winner. No irritation, burning, or leaving my face with blotchy red marks. The serum is also gentle,dries in seconds and leaves a soft smooth feel on my skin. Although a few have criticised the container as pouring the serum out too fast, I shake the tube vigorously, and then the product comes out slowly. That's another bonus with the serum and cream. They are encapsulated in tubes leaving no doubt that it stays clean and fresh, unlike jars. As for the cream which is applied after the serum, it too leaves my face soft and without that greasy feel. I use the serum and cream in the morning and at night, and have had no problems with breakouts or tightness, or redness. I look for problems daily, as most products have given me problems in the past. Now for the other great 'wonder product' in this kit. I was floored to say the least about the facial Detailer. The box contains five products, all large sizes, and even includes a small dish, and soft brush (a keeper on its own) I was a bit intimidated at first to try this kit, but after I read the directions, it was a snap. I also didn't expect the results. Again, no redness, no tightness, no burning, or itching. It took all of a few minutes for the entire procedure, but boy, did my face feel and look great. The flaky skin was gone, the looseness had tightened, and there was a glow that I hadn't expected. I can't say enough about these products. Having used Serious Skin products in the past, I ordered this kit because I haven't had good results with other products (I think we all experiment) I suffered from adult breakouts, dry flaky skin, a bit of rosacia, and I'd heard somewhere that I should be using a Retinol product. I am so pleased that I ordered this kit, and I see that it still is selling for the same small amount. My order will be in shortly so that I have some in reserve. Thank you Serious Skin for bringing us this great product combo for such a small price.

I use this once a week. I follow up with my toner-serum-cream. It is easy to use , doesn't turn my sensitive skin red and does leave it so smooth and soft . I bought extra kits this go around, I want to have back ups in the cupboard as to hopefully never run out . The brush is amazingly soft, I'd love to get others in difrent sizes for make up applications .

Really love the wash as it has a nice refreshing scent. The 3 step facial leaves the skin noticeably brighter and tighter. Honestly not too fussy on the scent of the serum and cream but not so bad that it would prevent me from using it. I would certainly purchase this kit again.

I had this kit for awhile and every time one sees an Ad that touts it is the next greatest product for anti-aging, the vanity part kicks in, and another product comes in, pushing this one to the back of the shelf. Rushing about one morning I foolishly had my curling iron slip in my hand, and I burned about a nickel size of skin on the higher orbital bone almost equal to the eye. To make stupidity worse, about two months later, I did exactly the same thing on the opposite side of my face in almost the identical spot. I had better odds of winning the lottery!! After letting it heal, the darkness of the burn no doubt would remain for quite some time. Good thing for the Dalton Facial concealer. It did a great job covering it. But as time went on it was not fading. And as Fall approached, my skin looked more sallow and I needed a good, but careful facial. I remembered the SS Detailer, and decided to give it a try. To be honest, I really did not expect much from it, and thought an appointment with a dermatologist would be a better next step. I wanted to brighten my complexion and see if I could get some fading on the burns. But since I had the kit, and it would take time to get an appt. anyway, I thought I might as well give it a try. To date I have almost virtually finished the Detailer kit and most of the A Force and A cream. I have been pleased with the results. My skin has brightened up, and tightened a bit. There is less pigmentation around the upper eyebrow/forehead area. The burns have obviously not completely disappeared, but there has definitely been a lightening in the brown patching. I like the format of this regime. It is more time consuming then just a facial scrub to exfoliate, but it is a simple 3-step enzyme-like system. The serums are very thick and in dark blue glass dropper jars. Step 1 is to be literally painted on a clean face with a given brush after measuring a dropper and a half of serum from the Step 1 bottle and placed in a small special dish from the package. It is left on for three minutes. Step 2 comes from the second dark dropper bottle, and once more a dropper and a half is placed in the small dish and painted directly over top the Step 1 solution on the face. It is in the neutralizing phase. Wait another three minutes. There is little drying or tightening with the serums. Then with a wet wash cloth one removes the serums; pats the face and prepares for Step 3, which is a green facial mask in a tube that is spread on with your fingers and left on for up to five minutes. It does not dry and crack uncomfortably on your face like some do. Then once again, it is removed with a cloth and warm water. I have very sensitive skin and was concerned about redness, swelling, and painful burning sensations that I have gotten from reactions to other cosmetic products, even like make-up. There was no discomfort of any sort with this system. Of course I wished it would have resurfaced my skin back to when I was like a twenty-some year old. But that is not realistic. There was, and is a noticeable texture improvement, especially the next morning each time I use it, and it seems to be cumulative in effect. I am not sure that it really deserved the 4 star yet. 3 1/2 would be a better choice at this stage. I will most likely do this system a second time to see how far it will improve, and it is still at a holiday price. I have had facials in some very trend spas. They used all these expensive potions and lotions and scrubs. My skin looked better after using this regime and is wasn't a hefty price each time. Good bang for your buck.

I treat my face/neck/declata every day with these products. The 1-2-3 step I treat my face/neck/declata every week and whow.I wouldn't be without these products.

I do not know if the retinol serum is supposed to be so "watery". As a result, it is very difficult to apply as the serum is in a tube. I have to hold the tube upright to prevent the serum from leaking out and I have to apply it very quickly. I thought that maybe it is not supposed to be so watery....

To Serious Skin Care: is the serum supposed to be very watery?

I love the large size cleanser.

I used to love SS, but I'm not feeling the brand anymore. I bought this configuration when they first returned and was not impressed - the cream & serum have petroleum products and the Detailer is not good. Exfoliation is not noticable to me, and the mask smelled rancid. Skip it.

I tried as I have pigmentation issues, and other signs of starting to age signs.
I have to say I used it once, but I have the impression something has changed (positively) in my skin.It feels a bit harsh though, because I have a very sensitive skin (the peel steps are normal to be felt) but as for the cleanser, wich does clean very well, rinses great, it feels a bit too much for me. The reason I gave 4 stars only, is because the serum ( iot penetrates so fast and greatly) and cream are too scented.
I will use it once a week or every other week as a "24H- treatment" and keep my softer usual regimen. I think this way I may get the best of two worlds! Great value, the quality seems there, the only thing is the fragrance, but overall, very good!

I received the products two weeks ago. I have tried the peel system twice now, each time with a noticeable texture improvement overall in my face. The peel is fairly aggressive, but even with my sensitive fair skin, if following the directions and not leaving the product on too long, it works as advertised. The A Cream and A Wash are terrific, leaving my skin feeling clean but not stripped after the wash, and hydrated but not greasy after applying the cream and serum.I have known the Serious Skin Care brand for at least 20 years that I can remember. It began selling at the [@] in the U.S. What was once primarily an Acne line, has developed into a well-balanced skin care line for everyone's needs. The product ingredients are a fair balance of natural and synthetic, but are efficacious and offered at great value. I would like to see a greater balance of natural ingredients, however.

I bought this set just to get the Peel at a cheaper price. I didn't expect to use the Retinol cream or serum BUT turns out, I love them! The peel is great, I use it 1-2 times a week to get glowing, super clear skin. The retinol cream and serum are both great and don't cause any irritation or dryness like most retinols can. I have yet to try the A-Wash but I will tell you that this set actually comes with a 12oz bottle not just a 4oz! What an amazing value and a great introduction to Serious Skin Care!
