Considered a national treasure, ammolite is the gemstone formed from an ancient marine fossil called ammonite. The many colours found in our ammonites are created in the same way that colours are created in opal gemstones. While ammonite fossils are found on every continent in rock formations dating back to 400 million years ago, only in southern Alberta, Canada, are they found with these distinctly bright, beautiful and iridescent colours. These exceptionally scarce Canadian ammonites are sought after by museums and private collectors all over the world.

• Due to the nature of the stone, the depth and shades of the colour will vary
• Measures approximately 5-6" long
• Mined in Alberta, assembled in China

Includes
• Certificate of Authenticity from Canada Fossils Information Brochure

history in your hands

By MARY ELLEN

from BURLINGTON

All Star Reviewer

I purchased a 6" ammolite about 4 yrs ago for $999. I can't begin to describe what it is like to hold a piece of world geological history in my hands other than to say it is spine tingling. If you can afford this, get it. It is a piece that you will hand down from generation to generation of your family and it will only be more venerated, precious and valuable over time. Ammolite jewellery is beautiful but you don't really think about it's age and history the way you do when you hold this piece. I truly want to thank TSC and Korite for offering us the chance to own a piece of Canadian history.
