AuraWave Sandal

Thanks for clarifying that Christine--LOL-I thought I'd lost my mind when I tried on those sandals. You're right--I had no idea that they were part of a bigger system, so in fairness, I upgraded my rating. Wish I'd taken the time to look into it more carefully! Glad they worked for you!

I think the previous reviewer (Jessie) did not realize that these sandals are not to be worn as walking sandals but that they are a complement accessory to the AuraWave pain relief unit system. These sandals are to be hooked to the Aurawave pain relief system in order to sooth pain in your feet, shins, calves and lower back through a controlled electric current transmitted by the unit.

Again,these are not walking sandals but therapeutic sandals!!!

I have been using the Aurawave pain relief unit along with these sandals for over a year now in order to help me relieve pain from plantar fasciitis and sciatica and it has been a Godsend!

I highly recommend the unit along with the sandals!

This is the first review I've ever bothered to write. I bought these just before I moved, so I left them in the box, boxed them up, and we moved. It wasn't until about two months later that I unpacked them and tried them on. I started to laugh--it felt like I was walking on a bed of needles! It was SO uncomfortable, bordering on painful, and I don't have particularly sensitive feet. I tried them with thick socks on, but they were still so awful. As a joke, I offered them as "gifts" to close family members, and watched with hilarity as they stood up on them, looking disbelievingly down at what they were standing on. Unless pain is your thing, I'd advise against these porcupine slippers.

I finally received these sandals after being on back order since March and it was worth the wait! I am so glad TSC received them because after using the AuraWave unit every day for the last 2 months on my right leg and hip, I get the best pain relief with these sandals! The whole AuraWave systems is great all over your body but it is even greater with the sandals! Your footsies really feel good and you can feel the relief right up to your knees! I might just order a second pair so to make sure I have a spare one just in case!
