Barr + Barr Double Handle Satchel

This was my first Barr + Barr purchase. The first thing that struck me about this bag (in person) is that the leather is matte. It smells like leather, feels like leather, but looks more like faux. The colour (Paprika) is fabulous. This is a great looking bag in terms of shape. However, the way the zipper slopes down at each end makes it more difficult to open/close. I would anticipate having problems with the zipper down the road from fighting with it all the time. I find the bag to be an "in between" size. I would have liked either for it to be larger so I could use it as a shopper tote, or smaller so I could use it as a crossbody for walking. I like the fact that a LEATHER cross body strap was included. I wish I could have loved this bag, but it just didn't work for me.

Beautiful bag, wonderful soft leather. Loved the colour (paprika). The bag opened far too wide for me. The fact that the bag went down on each side instead of straight across did not suit me. To each their own. I can't not recommend the bag - it is nice quality but you have to like a bag that opens WIDE. Disappointed to have to return it.

This handbag is so beautiful and the leather is so soft, yes, just like butter!!! The style is very chic and elegant, and is very flattering on the body. It is large without being bulky and doesn't weigh ten pounds before you put your things in it.

A perfect bag for the woman who likes quality and style. A good buy even at the regular price, never mind this amazing sale price!

I just love this handbag line. This is the third Bar & Bar bag I own and I have a few more on order. Can't wait to receive them. I love handbags, but am very fussy about the ones I keep.

I LOVE THIS BAG.

This bag is excellent quality and opens real wide to see what is inside. The leather is soft, and most importantly the bag is not heavy!!!
