Bose Wave Control Pod

I received this product as a Christmas present to go with a new bose system. If you want to mute, turn on/off or increase/lower volume on the bose system, this accessory is great. I would prefer it offered an ability to change CD's and radio stations - then it would have received a 5 star. It was a gift I hope to exchange for the bigger remote currently available on the shopping channel

I live in a side-split house with the Bose Wave radio in the lower level family room. This button lets me control the radio from the main floor where the kitchen and living room are located. I actually bought one a couple of years ago but during renovations it was "lost". Bought another last month as it was really missed.

So easy to turn off the alarm when you stupidly set it and don't need it.
Wonderful at turning the volum down if you are in another room.
Has many uses,and I haven't discovered all of them yet, but I will.
Worth buying as it not expensive and does so much.

This is another good little add-on to purchase for your system. You can control the sound with a quick spin and mute the sound by pushing on the top.

Note: If you purchase this product and you have to push on the top very hard to mute the sound, this means the product is defective. Call bose or simply email their technical support right away and they will send you a new product immediately - no hassel and it only takes 1-3 business days - you do not need to contact TSC if this occurs, just contact bose immediately.

Just received my Control pod with my Bose Music system.Although the system came with a remote, you can not but appreciate the convenience and time saving that the pod provides.I need my glasses to read the print on the remote control and sometimes get frustrated if my glasses is not nearby and I am feeling lazy going to get it.The pod is so convenient and I don't need to use my glasses or strain my eyes to operate it.Extra bucks but well worth it.

I bought this along with the Bose Receiver and the optional CD player. And I knew that each came with a remote. But I needed something for certain situations: like when the phone rings, or the doorbell chimes....I hoped this Bose Control Pod would be the answer to these needs. And in practice, IT IS!

I insert the CDs I want to play, and if I am interrupted, the POD lets me turn the radio and CD player off or on simply by pressing a well-marked button. I can ajust the volume to take an incoming call or answer the door by turning the bottom dial or simply mute by pressing the large button located at the top of the control. It is so easy to use. I can carry it to the kitchen or have it with me near the couch or by my computer. I highly recommend it as an essential accessory to the Bose music system.

Works great with the Bose Wave Radio. Have it connected to the TV, sound from there much better than from the TV itself. Pod is super easy to use and it mutes at a touch, so those annoying commercials are out. Volume can be increased and decreased at a slight turn, so it does not come in to loud.

Once more, I was glad to be able to add the control Pod to my original Bose system, plus the separate CD changer. The Pod adds ease of use in turning the system up or down at will and yet as another control from the two remotes. I was waiting to see if the Pod and extra CD changer would finally be sold separately, and when they were, i jumped at the chance to purchase them both to include with the original system. It is a great product and of course Bose is tops.

I received this as part of the showstopper back in November. At the time I saw it on air I didn't really appreciate it. I use it constantly and wouldn't operate the Bose without it. I am so pleased to see that it is now offered for separate purchase so that those owners who don't have it can pick it up. Trust me you won't regret it!! PS. I also LOVE my BOSE as well, one of my best purchases.
