Casablanca is one of the most popular and spectacular of the oriental lilies! Its pure white blooms billow forth like great white sails and can reach 10" (25cm) in size. They make a wonderful cut flower and when planted in groups, their fragrance can fill the garden.

Includes:

• 8 x Casablanca Oriental Lily Bulbs

Specifications:

• Height: up to 48" (120cm)

• Bulb size: 16/18 cm

• Season: Mid to late summer

• Exposure: Full sun, partial shade

• Planting depth: 6" (15cm)

• Plant spacing: 12" (30cm) apart

• Hardiness zone rating: 3-5 with mulch, 6-8 hardy

• Country of Origin: Holland

Since oriental lilies can grow to a height of 4' (120cm) and dislike dry, hot environments, they should be planted in sun or partial shade, protected from strong winds. Plant them 12" (30cm) apart in rather heavy soil with an ample supply of humus and good drainage. Remove faded flowers and do not cut back stems until autumn. These bulbs should not be lifted but left in the soil to bloom annually for many years.

Casablanca is my favourite lily....I grow mine in pots so that I can move the pots around, depending on what area of the garden or patio we are sitting in.....the fragrance is so beautiful not to mention the lovely white flowers stand out in the evening light.
