Brian Bailey Downfilled Coat

If I had written a review a week ago, after wearing the coat for about 5 weeks, I would have rated it a 5 star. It is stylish and warm. Two days ago, 3 teeth near the bottom of the zipper fell out. The coat is no longer wearable. It is not warm enough with just the snaps closed. The cost of replacing the zipper is prohibitive so I sent the coat back. I loved the coat. I love Brian Bailey's clothes. This was a big disappointment.

I live in Calgary and this coat is perfect. The outer shell doesn't sound like paper or plastic when it's cold and nips in at the waist, even though I don't have one to give me the appearance of having one. I ordered it in black and like the high collar to keep out the wind and am wearing it with the hood on! Zipper goes down up and up down, quality. Thanks Brian for a great coat at a great price. I would certainly recommend this coat.

I bought this coat in a medium bronze, I am size 12-14,this is a nice coat, but it does not fit me well,
and I am not really comfortable in it, it is not too puffy, but it gives me extra pounds when I look at myself, not enough structure maybe ? and there is a lot of STATIC going around, I would still recommended to those with smaller body though

I have this coat in black, and I love it. It is truly slimming -- not overly puffy, but warm. Very fashionable,and I have chosen to wear it without the hood, and I keep the hood tucked in my glove box if it should get nasty. The hood, obviously then, is detachable as a whole unit (zipper), but also the hood has the detachable fur (buttoned on), so you can wear it as a plain hood. Just the right length, and I am really impressed with the quality. Hidden pocket inside as well for cell/wallet.
