Brian Bailey London Front Folded Drape Skirt

I have never worn a skirt like this before, but loved how it looked on all the models, so I thought I'd try it! I bought it in Black and I absolutely LOVE it! It fits soooo well and makes a real statement! I like it best with a white silk or crisp cotton shirt or a soft white blouse! Just a gorgeous piece again from Brian Bailey!!

I am sure this skirt is wonderful on many woman, but not on me. Not only was it uncomfortable because of where the waist hit on my body, but it was too short and simply not for this woman over 70. I ordered my usual size large, but maybe in this skirt an XL may have worked better. Too bad, because I bought the matching top and I am still thinking about keeping that piece. But I really wanted an outfit because the two pieces worn together look like a dress. I even went for the red instead of good old black, but I may have to be satisfied wearing the top with a plain old black bottom I already own.

I have theBrian Bailey London front folded draped skirt in turquoise in size large. I am 5ft1 and the length is to the knee and it is figure flattering. I have the Nora top that matches it in turquoise and it makes a nice outfit. I think it can be worn anywhere and I think I'll wear it in the winter as well as the spring and summer. It's really form fitting and I think it makes me look slimmer. I think it's a great skirt!

I was very pleased with the quallity of the material, the workmanship and the colour of this skirt. It is just beautiful.

I ordered this skirt in the cobalt blue along with the top and I was extremely pleased when it arrived.The workmanship is superior and the material gave it a beautiful flow. I will definitely watch for his new collection and I consider him to be one of my favourite designers.
