I'm happy!

Received these today in black and charcoal. The wool blend is great for three seasons, and I like the lining. They are well-made and I am happy to support a company using natural fibres and making products here in Canada.

I'm only disappointed that camel was gone in my size. Please bring it back, Brian! Thank you.

Disappointed with the quality.

By Barbara

Today I got my black Sophia's skirt. Very disappointed with the quality. I bought the grey one some time ago, lovely. Excellent quality, the material feels like wool. i have no idea what went wrong with the black one. Looks cheap and worn out. Have to return.

timeless elegance

I order in camel in size medium. the cut skims the body so very flattering. sits low on waist. The lining is well done too as I will not purchase a skirt or jacket without it. The fabric is heavier that what I thought but not a negative as this lends to a timeless piece.

Aristocratic Luxury

By Sandy

Silver Reviewer

When I received this and opened the box first thing I noticed was that the colours of both skirts were a true rich tone. The material is a sensory overload. Soft and luxuriant. I slipped it on I felt the inner lining whisper over my skin. I did up the hidden zipper and just melted.
I loved the fit and I have nothing to adjust for length.I can't wait for the matching Tunic to arrive to pair with this skirt as well as wear as a dress.
You will NOT be sorry for this purchase. This is a MUST have classic I shall have this in my closet forever!
**One thing I read over and over again is size issues and I understand the confusion.
**Tip: always go to the size chart to the right of the Product Overview as the size chart in the Product Overview is NOT the size chart used for Brian Bailey. It is the shopping channel size chart.
It is a bother for many that they do not always have the x large and xx large on the size chart for Brian Bailey but I have a little black book I note the designer size charts for my favorite designers (as they ALL have their own size charts).

I love that Brian Bailey brings high quality materials to bring his flattering and Classic Designs to life, as that translates into our self esteem and absolute joy of being a woman and wearing his clothing line.
Bravo Brain Bailey. BRAVO!

Beautifully made!

Ordered up a size as I did not want it to be too close in fit.
Is made with ease so the size chart is not accurate. The waist in my skirt is 1 and 1/2 inches larger than the chart states.
I will therefore tuck in my fine mohair and 2 ply cashmere sweaters to have it fit and hang properly.
The wool blend is fine in texture, and love that the garment is lined. For the TSC price... one normally gets mass produced, petro-chemical fabrications. As one of Canada's leading health care professionals I refuse to wear them. Call them what you want, they do not breathe... and no peri- or post- menopausal lady should suffer wearing them. We term them sweat suits in my practice :)Whenever TSC makes natural fiber garments available...watch the speed by which I place orders :)
