When I first saw the Bodyblade demonstrated on TV, my initial reaction was that of countless individuals before me: "What the heck is that?!" I did some research online, and decided to buy the Classic version of the product.

Disclaimer: I have worked out for decades, and used dozens of machines over the years, many of them from companies no longer in business. The Bodyblade has many advantages: it is relatively compact, lightweight, and extremely intuitive. By forcing hundreds of quick muscle contractions, it provides a completely different type of workout compared to weights, or freehand exercises.

Yes, the DVD could be better; however, a quick search online will produce literally hundreds of instructional videos which are quite informative. All in all, an excellent product and, like any exerciser, it takes a bit of time to get used to – stick with it, and you'll be pleased by the results!

It is easy to use. Works great even if you have very little time. The video could be better, and the price should be lower. It is getting the five stars because it is well made and works as advertised.

I received the Body blade about a week ago. When I took it out of the box it was larger than I thought and the blade far less flexible than I anticipated. I turned on the DVD as suggested but the video quality was so poor that I could barely hear the instruction! Dissappointed, I choose the poster as my other learning tool, but found that the blade is so hard to move that I could only do some of the 15 exercises I tried! It is good for developing the arm muscles. Perhaps also the shoulders if you can hold the blade above your head and move it! Good luck- I could not! I am the first to admit to have little arm strength but found this piece of equipment awkward and difficult to use. This may be great for well build men and women with already great upper body strength. Perhaps this is why they show a well build, strong male in the DVD to demo! If you feel that you are not very strong and not coordinated, than this product is not for you! I am sending the item back today to the Shopping Channel! The first product I have ever had to return. Dissappointing!!

I enjoy using this and find it is easy and is great for seniors and people in wheelchairs (I'm 60 not fit and I can do this). You can sit, stand, lay down when using it. It is a bit hard at the start to get the hang of it (using it properly) but after a few tries you can do it. I do find when I am consencrating on it it is harder for me to do it. It is very light weight. I do agree with others, when you do it your arms get sore but it only lasts for a few minutes after you stop your exercise. When you first receive it, you will think no way is this going to do anything but as soon as you start to use it you will feel it in your arms. I keep mine in my living room on my tv stand and you don't even notice it, but when people do notice it they want to try it.
I do highly recommend watching the dvd completely because it is definitely helpful and shows the proper way to hold it and also when I did the workout routine with them it went by fast and was enjoyable but most of the time I do it while I am watching tv, infact you can even do it while talking on the phone because you don't need to use both hands at one time.

This item is perfect for peak fitness, and make whatever exercise you do more challenging. Ìf you want to use it only for the exercises in the videos included with your blade, it is also very good exercise. I have bought this for myself, and for each of my parents. I just wish TSC could bring the other models, like the aerobic ones (which are shorter), or the larger ones.

this is my tool for easy to use. stores easily not much space required and I can use it on my other pieces of equipment I have or on its own fantastic

I found the Bodyblade to be a good way to tone my upper body without too much strenuous effort. It's great for a quick daily workout.

The body blade is easy to use, once you find your rhythm. I find it difficult to use on my left side, but easier for the right hand. Two handed maneuvers are also easier. The video included is very informative. It is amzing how tired you get after just a few minutes, you can really feel the muscles working.

I bought this to add some variety to my workout routines. At first it was too easy, then I watched the DVD as recommended. That changed everything. The different positions are very challenging. Only the first, very basic position was easy.

It provides a great, targetted workout.
