Best Shampoo for Dry, Thinning Hair!
from Prince George, BC
I was very skeptical that any shampoo or hair product could help my extremely dry, brittle hair. I've had this type of hair all my life(50 yrs old this year) and nothing has ever really helped much. Then, I tried this shampoo. It makes my hair less dry and brittle----without weighing it down. I find I use less styling products, like mousse, because I don't need as much now. It makes my hair look fuller and healthier. In fact, I noticed after approximately 4-6 uses, that I have less hair falling out. I had been really thinning out around my part and at the back of the crown area. I couldn't believe it!! It doesn't grown hair and doesn't claim to. But, WOW, does it ever help with everything else in a noticeable way. Bumped into an acquaintance I hadn't seen for awhile and she asked what I was doing differently with my hair 'cause it looked so much fuller & healthier. This from a person that has always had thick, beautiful hair:)

I do love the twist top but I would recommend that you put little lines around the lid so that it is easier to twist when its wet. Very creamy and rich, smell is wondrerful and you just need a small amount. Something about it takes me back to my childhood and is my hair ever soft! I have a different conditioner I used with this. Next time I will try the conditioner that goes with this shampoo. Everything in this line smells so good. I LOVE products that smell good but not too much....perfect balance Lisa!
Very soothing and moist...

Not sure how to review this product. The shampoo feels smooth and buttery on my coarse, curly hair. The problem may be the conditioner (reviewed separately). The end result of using the shampoo with the Monoi conditioner/detangler/oil is not what I expected from the texture and feel of the shampoo alone. Sounds like a strange review, but this is the best I can do. If I try the shampoo without the conditioner, I wouldn't be able to get a comb through my hair. If I try the shampoo with someone else's conditioner, it wouldn't give an accurate result either. The shampoo (in isolation) has a great creamy feel when it's on your wet hair/scalp. If the supplementary products work well for you, then you have a prize indeed.
