I'm now officially a fan of Ciate

I started off by buying this navy blue colour, "3a.m. Girl" and have since progressed to buying a few more colours ("Oil slick" -- a gold/green, "cookies & creme" -- a pale cream colour with a hint of brown undertone, and a silvery metal). There are a couple of key features that I really like: (1) They go on smoothly -- something about the polish / brush interaction that works well. Even doing my own manicure, I have very little polish, if any, that gets onto the edges outside the nail with this polish. A lot of that is due to how carefully the polish is applied, obviously, but I also know it has something to do with the brush since some other polishes end up all over the edges, no matter how careful I am. (Maybe they are too runny?) (2) The polish lasts reasonably long -- up to a week or slightly longer with maybe the occasional touch up right at the edge of the tip, although even that is not always required. (3) And, they look GREAT -- fresh and modern. Of course, all polishes require a very good top coat for the final touch and I have one of those. In general, for someone who loves nail polish and that whole look, this is an exciting line. Right now, I'm wearing "Oil slick" which is this really interesting combination of gold in one light / green metallic in another light. Glad TSC brought this in.
