Medallion Liquid Plating Gold & Silver Kit

The gold jar was open and half was missing.
The rest was OK so I kept it.My mistake

I followed the instructions to the letter. Old jewellery came alive again! I even changed silver to gold and it looks great! I think the customers who had problems with it may not have cleaned it properly first. Read your instructions carefully and follow them for sparkling results!

I liked this product. The instruction sheet was easy to follow and I had good success. I changed a sterling silver ring I had to gold plate and it is spectacular. Some old necklaces in silver were showing their age and I plated them in silver and they look like new. Plus it was fun!!

Although I was initially skeptical, I was anxious to renew 2 sterling silver rings which had lost their goldplated lustre. The product was easy to use,did an excellent job and didn't affect the precious stones at all. I even gold plated a base metal bracelet which turned a little black at first, but after rinsing and using the gold polish, it is gleaming again. Then, I gold plated some silver jewellery which I had neglected for years because I prefer to wear yellow gold pieces. Couldn't believe how great they turned out, so now I wear these pieces all the time.
The directions were easy to follow,the solution was safe to touch, no odor and the process was quick. Would like to purchase more solution for my kit; however, the price for this entire kit was very reasonable. I will definitely use this product again.

The box arrived with the products and when I opened the plastic wrap on the gold I found that it had leaked even though the containers appeared to be sealed. There was very little of the Gold Plating left. The leaking also caused the instructions on the Gold Polish to be illegible. Could not find instructions on the internet. There should be a separate instruction sheet enclosed. I had used the Gold years ago and it worked well but does not seem to work as well this time.
The Silver works well with lots of rubbing.

Did not have a good outcome. Turned a TSC sterling silver bracelet absolutely black and no longer wearable even though I followed the instructions carefully. Also, when kit arrived, liquid had leaked out of one of the bottles into the plastic bag it was packed in. I should have sent it back without opening, but I was anxious to try it. Couldn't tell which bottle had leaked as all still appeared to be sealed. Anyway, I would not recommend this item.

I tried the gold plating and it didn't work. The rub on silver plating does work but the jewelery cleaner doesn't....what a waste of money. I wish I had just sent it back before I tried it. Useless.

It works on SOME items, some of my pieces turned black & spotty, i figure the metal didnt take. it wont work on stainless or pewter. i have a sterling silver dolphin ring that looks Really good after i gold-plated it. so i am happy with the product i just wish they'd give me MORE solution. Can you please post where i can buy more solution?

Wow! Really works, both the silver and the gold plating. Really easy, fast and very very effective. Absolutely amazing. Re-silver plated a cheap but sentimental and pretty ring. Ring had long ago turned copper colour as original silver plating wore off, but now looks as good as new! Completely restored a very old and dirty gold chain that other jewel cleaners had failed to restore. In seconds, transformed a fairly expensive white gold diamond and saphire ring into yellow gold colour (my daughter now prefers yellow gold and this was a ring we gave her years ago that she no longer wore). Product cleans and plates in minutes and the cleaner is the best I've ever used. One problem is that it is impossible to remove all the foil seal from the liquid gold container so that it sparked in the microwave. It mentioned something about pouring into an empty container, but empty container was not rec'd in kit. Either way, still worked perfectly to gold plate. Suggestion: wear the gloves when silver plating.
