Company History

J.C. Walsh & Sons Limited is a family run business, established in 1946. Our Head Office and giftshop are located in Rathfarnham Village, Dublin 14, Ireland. The Full range of our products are on view here and visitors are always welcome.

Our wide selection of high quality marble gifts and souvenirs, created by top designers, and our attractive range of rosary beads are on sale in leading stores throughout the world.

We own and operate our own quarry in Lissoughter, Recess, Co. Galway. From here, Connemara marble is extracted and transported to Dublin for crafting and polishing.

As we lift each piece of marble from the Quarry, its own distinctive colouring can be seen, thus making each piece truly one of a kind.

Connemara Marble

Stephen Walsh and his family welcome you to Connemara marble . My Family have worked the beautiful, green Connemara marble for three generations and we take great pride in the Irish made jewellery that we produce.

Connemara marble is over 900 Million years old and is unique to Ireland. The mineral Serpentine gives the unique and varied green colour to the marble. We own and operate the oldest marble quarry, which was first opened in the 19th Century, and visited in 1903 by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra during the Royal tour of Connemara.
