Designer Lisa Corbo is a woman with a vision. With the launch of her eponymous accessory Collection in 2006, this style expert will fulfill a lifelong dream which has been in the making since her early days as a maverick design student.

Lisa's eclectic design inspirations have come together in this presentation of her timeless "Pearl Collezione".

After collaborating with her husband, Canadian retail expert George Corbo, to create the style destination George C.

Toronto, Lisa noticed a void in the market for chic but affordable jewelry. Lisa knew the moment was right to turn her keen editorial eye into a collection worthy of her name. Her work at George C. Toronto allows her to scan the runways of Paris, Milan, and New York, selecting the best of right now and editing designer collections season after season (Derek Lam, Giles Deacon, Aquilano.Rimondi, and Altuzarra to name a few!).

Lisa has developed a loyal following among the most style savvy and knowledgeable clientele in Canada. More and more, they are asking the dynamic designer to fine tune their wardrobes and customize their look, adding to it with her jewelry collection.

Lisa possesses an International background and extensive Design Education. She grew up in the thriving artistic energy of 1980s Melbourne, studying at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology where she achieved her Bachelor Degree in Textile Design. She was awarded the coveted "Gown of the Year" before she left for Europe. A year at L'Instituto Secoli in Milano gave Lisa a cosmopolitan finishing touch, exposing her to a European world and design aesthetic. Lisa has experimented with many different roles while working as a freelance stylist and designer. She established herself as an international buyer and product developer back in Australia. While on a business trip Lisa was introduced to Canadian retailer George Corbo. With so much in common, it wasn't long before Lisa decided to move to Toronto where she joined the team at the luxury retail chain Holt Renfrew, and worked as an executive assistant for Product Development.

Fast forward to Lisa Corbo today, and she is a design visionary with determination and know-how, a leader in the on-going revitalization of the fashion industry in Canada, who possesses a unique perspective on what modern women want to wear, not just for right now, but for years to come.
