Cougar Tamarack-2 Tall Winter Boot

I absolutely love these boots. They are stylish and fit very well. I usually am an 8/12 in boots so ordered a size 9 in the black and the fit was perfect with ample width to wear a heavy sock if needed. Unfortunately, the zippers are very sticky and the right boot zipper became stuck a third of the way. Lucky for me that the zipper only went that far so I was able to get my foot out of them. I never had a chance to try them outside in the weather elements, but must say am sadly dissapointed with the zipper situation and so had to return them. Why a heavier duty zipper is not put in a cold weather boot is beyond me. Too bad, I was really looking forward to using these boots this winter.

Okay ladies...this is a gorgeous boot, no doubt.
A bit taller than it looks on tv, just above the calf. However there is absolutely no arch support in these. When I put them on my ankles dropped in
towards each other and I felt an immediate strain
on my arches. It is almost like the outside of the sole is higher than the inside. Judge for yourself but be sure to take a few steps in these before deciding to keep them. The fit was really nice...a bit narrow though.Really cushy and comfy on the foot. Classy and warm...but unfortunately
for me, I fear these would cause back problems for me.They have to go back. Too bad because I really liked the look of these boots.
