Kimberley Seldon Cozy Nights 100% Cotton Flannel Duvet & Sheet Set

First of all let me say I am shocked that Kimberly Seldon was promoting these sheets,not very good for her image. I got the Holly in King size and as soon as I opened the box the stench was unbearable,more of an acrid chemical smell,hard to describe but certainly not tolerable.The quality was so bad I never even bothered washing them,cheap zipper,thin flannel,poor stitching,and it was so obvious that color was going to run,back they went! One would think they would have been a little more dilligent about checking the quality of the sheets after the mink sheet fiasco.I am in full agreement with other shoppers GIVE US CANADIAN MADE GOODS!!!!!!!!!!!and let us pay a tad more for better quality which would make much more sense than all the money we are throwing away on shipping charges.Please consider what customers really want. Thank you :)

I purchased the red flannel sheets. They were washed per instructions prior to usage. They were soft and comfy, but when I woke up in the morning I had black dye on all exposed skin-it was particularly dark on my face and hands. When I washed in my new acrylic bathtub, it actually stained it black as well. This was weeks ago and the stain is still there (unfortunately I cannot use anything abrasive to clean the tub). I am tempted to go after the manufacturer to replace the tub. I've washed the sheets several times since then and the dye continues to be a problem. I would highly recommend that TSC stop selling these sheets.

Sheet are extraordinarily comfortable and cozy however there are several flaws on the comforter. I was thinking on sending it back and get another one but I didn't. Only noticed it once it was washed and on the bed. Other than that they are a great set. That is why I rated it a three star. Flawed design.

I bought the holly. They did have a strange smell but it did wash out. I would never use sheets without washing them first, so the smell was not issue.
The sizing was very generous. And they feel really soft.
There was a lot of lint even after washing them the second time but that is expected with flannel sheets. My only complaint is the red did seem to transfer in the wash. IT made the white parts of the duvet cover and pillow shams less white than the sheets. I washed the sheets separately and the white remained more white.

I bought the Snowman set and I am very happy with it. It did have an odor out of the pkg. but no longer an issue. Some pilling on the sheets but nothing major. The fitted sheet fits great, the top sheet is not wide enough to tuck in and the duvet cover, while perfect for keeping the duvet from moving around, is not wide enough to cover the mattresses. Aside from that, I look forward to going to bed at night because the set is so warm and cozy.

I bought the Reindeer pattern.
Well, I have washed them so often to make the dye stop going all over our skin. It still comes off on our skin. I wake each morning, our feet/legs etc. are blue/black from the dye. It doesn't wash off easily, we have to scrub with a rough wash cloth. The dye also transferred to the white, so now they are black reindeer on a grey lousy looking background. I have never been so disappointed in a Shopping Channel product. I usually love everything.
I never washed the duvet cover so it is ok, but it is starting to look yucky so I will need to wash it, so I guess it will go to grey yucky colour background too.
Very comfy but sad.

The sheet set is a good set, but the dyes are coming off everything. I have ruined some of my clothes because I didn't know that the dyes were rubbing off on me. When I jumped into the shower I had all of this black stuff on my face cloth. Once the dyes get onto other fabric's it is ruined. I shold have bought one of the other colors. NOT HAPPY!!!

Bought the red plaid and was not satisfied. Smell was horrible, so much lint in dryer. My husband doesn't like them - says they are not very warm. Would not purchase again. Will give away to Salvation Army.

I bought the snowflake and the grey plaid sets and I couldn't be happier with them. They are thick and cozy and so far there has been no pilling. What a difference having these on the bed--no more hot water bottles! And the duvet doesn't slide around inside the duvet cover.
