Croton how Disappointing
By Frequent Shopper/Traveller
from St. Catharines, Ontario
I have several Croton watches over the years, and have been very satisfied with their time pieces. But, this one takes the Cake....I agree 100% with Reviewer Gilush, could not have said it better myself. Still awaiting acknowledgement from TSC, although I returned another item at the same time and that was acknowledged more than a week ago.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bad reviews made up my mind
What a hard sell on TV! I think many of us got sucked in big time. Everything said in all those bad reviews is 100% correct. I wanted to love these watches, but all the red flags were there. I too am afraid to give them away as gifts. So after sitting with them for a while, the poor reviews confirmed all my suspicions about the poor quality of these watches. I'm starting to find a lot of TSC products are of poor quality. Between some of the garbage I've been receiving as of late and the new return policies, it's time for me to stop buying so much at TSC.

Also Very Disappointed - Returning
By Barbie Girl 64
from Kelowna, B.C.
Just like several other reviewers, I planned to keep a few watches and give the rest as gifts. I was very disappointed once they arrived and I saw them in real life - in my opinion they look very 'cheap'. Also, just like some others, two of the watches were already running when I opened up the boxes. Even though I knew the watch faces were large, in real life (for me) the face PLUS strap holders are so large across my wrist (my wrist diameter is 6 3/4 inches) that I would not be able to wear them comfortably. I also agree with other reviewers that watch straps are very stiff and difficult to do up.(FYI regarding the 'minute hand' appearing to be loose, when the stopper is removed and the button is pushed in to start watch running the hand is no longer loose.)

Not what I expected

Had the same results as all the others who wrote negative comments. Mine are going back too.

Not what was expected
My watches arrived in a broken box but the watches were cheap looking and stiff and could barely fit it on my average size wrist. The face is so big it looked like a man's watch. There's no way I would give these as gifts and were not nice enough for me to wear. Sent them back and sorry I have to pay for the shipping fee. Very disappointed.
You get what you pay for, right?

..... somehow we all hope against hope that maybe the manufacturer has supplied a quality product at a great price just to win over our loyalty. This was not the case. The watches are pretty, but like other reviewers, several of the watches were clicking away even though the plastic stopper was on, some of the watches had loose arms that just "dropped" when you moved the watch, and well.... the BOTTOM LINE is this: I did not trust giving any of these away as gifts. For that reason, I returned them. (I have a reputation to uphold.... LOL)There's no such thing as value if there's no quality.
just rec'd mine. As others have said: 2 were running even with the guard; 1 has slipping hand. I wanted two for myself but I can't get them on. I have an 8" wrist and copy states that they are 9 1/2" long. Have not measured but are too short for me. After reading these reviews, I severely doubt whether I can gift these. Darn!
Extremely disappointed and annoyed!

Like several others here, I to was excited to get these watches after all the glorious rants they were given on air! BUT, like they say..."if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" ...and it was! Three didn't have the tiny keepers on the stems to lock them so they don't work until you remove this thing, three of the hour hands were flipping back and forth as I removed them from their boxes and they are made of CHEAP left-over leather ( Oh, it's genuine alright, but, not the quality they claim it to be) therefore the straps are very stiff & hard to buckle with only a tiny part left at the end to tuck into the second strap holder. If this is an example of CROTON QUALITY...well...I'll pass thank you. I sent them all back today! Girls/guys...don't waste your time/money ordering this venders product because they are NOT as advertised on TV..they are junk!
