Croton Stainless Steel Tank Bracelet Style Watch

I just got this watch home and I absolutely love it! I wasn't sure how the quality would be for the low price I paid but this definitely exceeded my expectations. There's a real substantial weight to it which is important to me and it has a very classy look. For the price I should have bought one for my daughter too!

As pointed out by others it was a big tricky to figure out the clasp but once you do I can't see why people would send it back because the clasp is nice and strong. The watch is very expensive looking and I am very happy with it. I removed one star because it is a bit heavy but not enough to make me send it back. A nice watch and piece of jewellery.

Good looking watch at an excellent prrice. The clasp is confusing and annoying. For that point, I would not recommend the watch.

Agree with Saucy Minx about the clasp as could not open it.

Noticed on other watches that there is an additional piece to the inner clasp to push which would open the clasp - this extra piece / mechanism is not on this watch and couldn't figure out how to open the clasp.

It will be returned.

If one already knows how to open such a clasp - this watch is a good buy at the reduced price.

This is my first purchase from Croton and I am very impressed with the quality of the watch (I purchased the black one). It's beautifully made and of a substantial weight – though certainly not too heavy. The face size is perfect – bold but not huge. It also comes in a very attractive gift-box perfect for storage and/or gift-giving.

So why did I deduct a point? The clasp. I've never owned a watch a "deployment butterfly clasp" before and I couldn't figure out how to open it. A little booklet came with the watch but it didn't explain how to do this. Furthermore, the information was not offered on the TSC website in print or on the video for the item. So I emailed Croton customer service the day I received the watch and, five days later, I still haven't heard back from them (not good). I Googled for info but couldn't find anything that clearly explains how to open this kind of clasp. I thought of going to a jeweller but since I didn't purchase the watch from a jeweller, I decided to make this my final option.

So next I visited the Aquaswiss pages on TSC's website. Aquaswiss was the first TSC watch vendor I thought of since I very much enjoy the banter between Daniel Goddard and the hosts/models and I try to tune in whenever Aquaswiss comes to air. To my delight, I found a video of Daniel Goddard briefly explaining how to open a deployment butterfly clasp! It was quick but it was enough and, thanks to Daniel, I finally opened my Croton watch. (Perhaps I should purchase from Aquaswiss next time.)

Anyhow, I believe TSC should print such instructions on-line and whenever a watch – or any piece of jewellery - with an unusual clasp/closure is shown on-air, the vendor and/or host should demonstrate how it works and a video of that presentation should be posted on the item's TSC webpage. It sure would save customers a lot of time and trouble!

Finally, especially since this is a very attractive, substantial, well-made, quality watch, the Dazzling Deal price is spectacular!

I bought this for myself but my daughter liked it so I gave it to her. She likes it because it looks very smart and looks pricey. This is my first purchase at the shopping channel and I'm happy that I was not disappointed.

I bought this watch in the blue and it looks great! Easy to read and very stylish. What I really love about this watch is that the entire thing done in stainless steel, not simply the back.The fact that the bracelet is not made of some sort of base metal is an indication of a high quality timepiece. What a great price for such quality!

Just got this watch with the black dial. I love it and have had many compliments! Not too big but with the dark dial is easy to read amd it has sturdy weight to it as well. My only complaint is that if I had waited just 1 week, it would have been less expensive and TSC does not reimburse you the difference like a department store would.
