Doris Dalton Souffle Foundation

I have tried many foundations & this is one of my favourites in years. I use medium shade-it provides excellent coverage & goes on matte so powder is optional. I'm not crazy about squeeze tube because too little or too much comes out sometimes. I've tried both brush & finger application & prefer the latter. The brush that is included is much too large--I use this for powder or blush instead. There is a bit of a learning curve with this & I'm sure that negative reviewers were probably using too much. A little goes a long way. Problem spots--use a bit & pat on. Thanks Doris!

Does not blend well you get a very dry cake like look and feel to your skin I gave it another try used less got the same results gave it to my sister to try and she got the same results as well

I tried this based on how it appeared on TV however the foundation is thick and cake like when it`s on the face. I tried using the Dalton makeup brush to feather out the product but when it dries it just looks like I`m wearing a lot of make up and I ended up washing it off every time I tried it. I take good care of my skin and this product does not do my own skin justice

I have this foundation in both the light and medium shades, I use the light in the winter and the medium in the spring and summer. I also will use both shades on different parts of my face.

I prefer using a foundation brush to apply it as you don't need to use very much foundation at all. If you use your fingers to apply this, it can go on too thick and heavy.

I like this foundation because I have oily skin and this foundation dries down to a matte finish.

I'm really surprised by the bad ratings this product got. I am a foundation freak. I try everything on the market even brands nobody ever heard of. This is the one. The color is perfect (light), the coverage is great and it STAYS forever (almost...). I have giant discolorations and a not-so-young-anymore skin (53). Yet this is making me look flawless and refreshed. I AM HOOKED!

I agree with the other reviewers. Received as part of showstopper but this item was very disappointing-felt cakey and even with the darkest shade, I looked like a ghost.

Received this in the showstopper. Since all of the other dalton products that I have used have been wonderful, I was hoping the same would be true of this. I use DD Conceal It Concealer in the winter and thought I'd try this for the summer. I found that it was too thick and made my face perspire in the summer heat. Because it came in the showstopper I kept it as I use all of the other products in the kit and love them. Will continue to buy your other products.

I bought this as part of a showstopper. The other products are great but this one went in the garbage. Found it very heavy and cakey.

I like to use this foundation by squeezing a small amount onto the side of my hand and then using the brush to put onto my face. I always wear a primer first, and had no problems with it dimpling on my pores.
It is a thick consistency which I think is great as it provides good coverage.
