Danielle DiFerdinando began her journey in the fashion industry at the ripe age of 18. The ambitious Maryland native's passion began on a study abroad a trip to Europe, where she studied the design and manufacturing process of several major high-end design houses. During an internship with Bergdorf Goodman, she seized the opportunity to get noticed and began carrying a different bag of her own design to work each day. Her plan paid off. The cosmetic buyer took interest in Danielle's work and asked her to create a line of cosmetic bags for the store. Before long, Danielle was designing complete leather collections for Bergorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's and Lane Crawford.

After the recession in 2008, Danielle began using leather alternatives to give her clients the same caliber of design at a more affordable price. This led to the development of special productions for Dillard's and Nordstrom. Having already seen an impressive amount of success in just a few years, a personal and professional highlight came in 2011 when Danielle was chosen to design a limited edition tote for the Oprah show's O You! Conference in Atlanta. The tote went home with over 5,500 guests and was featured in O Magazine and Oprah.com. The brand continues to grow, with offices in New York, L.A., and Hong Kong, and its newly introduced collection of soft non-leather goods including wallets and iPad cases.

Never taking her success and good luck for granted, Danielle is committed to giving back. She volunteers and helps raise money for charities like Ronald McDonald House and the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation. This past October Danielle designed a signature pink Jelly Tote for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with a portion of the proceeds donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Given the project's success, Danielle looks forward to continuing in 2012.
