Not very sparkly

I was looking forward to owning a spinel piece but something was missing so I sent it back. It just didn't sparkle enough for me and I found it plain. Maybe if there were fake diamonds around the black spinel, the stones would stand out more and it would have more sparkle. I also loved the shape but not on my finger. That being said, the ring looked well made, was comfortable, true to size and an amazing price. I can see some ladies loving this but it just didn't wow me.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Spinet or black diamonds...can't tell

I love this ring! It really sparkles....happily surprised! It looks like black diamonds for a lesser price....like it! And Spinel is a good quality stone, therefor a good investment. This ring is like the little black dress,indispensable.

Beautiful Ring

I bought this ring for the middle finger for my left hand to go with a black onyx ring combined with an onyx pinky on the right. The combination is stunning. The picture of the spinel ring on line does not do it justice. My friend and I also researched the stone and found the history very interesting. She decided to go for it and when I saw it with her permission I ordered one too. Beautiful setting, nice stones and nice silverwork. Happy with my purchase. Will be watching for spinel earings in the future. There are some to choose from but I like a minimum of 1 1/2" in hoops. I have purchased some coloured diamonds and the spinel definitely shines like diamonds. Very nice.

Stunning

This ring is spectacular. It looks expensive and the spinel stones really do look like black diamonds. Very sparkly. When I researched the spinel stones, I discovered they are in the crown jewels of England...how about that. And the ring is very comfortable to wear...a real keeper.
