Person mentioned that the screen dims all the time, I called tech support as I had the same issue and they couldn't figure it out. But you can disable it by going into services menu and click disable auto dim. Now I have a problem with the wifi connection.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Too many problems !!!
After 6 weeks of waiting I cancelled the order. It was confirmed by Dell and instead they shipped it . I was mad !!! The screen dims all the time - no fix for it!They downloaded Dell PC- Doctor and I can not uninstall it. Technical support is terrible because they say it is a new computer and some of them are not familiar with it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is an update on my previous post. After waiting over 1 1/2 months for delivery, I started it up and pop up windows were all over the place. I tried to open IE and was told there was a DLL file missing. I called the Dell tech who stated that it was refurbished. After 2 hrs and 45 minutes on the phone he finally got the computer working where I could use it but within a week it had crashed 2 more times. Needless to say it's going back. I've dealt with Dell for over 10 yrs and have never been so disappointed with anything like I am with this item. All the problems I have had are in no way TSC's responsibility.
I've had problems with the system since I got it (the screen dims even after changing the settings, was on the phone with tech support for 1 hour trying to fix the problem and downloading new drivers, still didn't fix the problem). Purolator will only ship it to the address they were given and they're very strict, if they don't have a buzzer # or right name on the directory they won't deliver it(if you live in a condo or apartment), it takes 1.5 weeks for delivery because it's being shipped by their US warehouse by ground delivery. As for the the product, it's very functional, very nice screen.

I couldn't agree more with previous post. I had to go and get it myself since Purolator did not deliver it. They told me on the phone they tried to deliver twice but nobody was here. I find it hard to believe since I'm in a residencce for disabled and there is someone here 24/7!! So, after nearly waiting for a month and paying $66 for a cab, I finally got it. As for the computer, I'm very pleased with it.

I couldn't be more happy with this computer. It killed two bird's with one stone. Finally something portable and powerful. Make sure to read the little blurb about shipping...ships directly from Dell. Mine arrived in about 3 weeks. No biggie most computers bought online take this amount of time to arrive. I use a lot of photo editing and graphics programs and they run very well with this system. Zero hiccup's and fun to use. Sharing my deigns with my clients is so easy. Thanks shopping Channel. Your easy pay option makes owning this fab computer easy.
EXTREMELY POOR DELIVERY SERVICE
I can't rate the computer as I've waited over a month for delivery with absolutely no response from Dell saying when they would ship it. Extreme incompetence on their part.

This is a super computer. Set up easily, & great graphics. I use this for my personal use, so I'll probably never use all it has to offer, but it is impressive. And when I need help, Dell is there to talk you through. Great for games too.
