The Rose Cut:
The rose cut when looked at directly above the stone resembles a rose just before it opens, with the facets resembling tightly packed rose bud petals. The Rose cut does not have a table (flat surface on top), but a semi-domed top consisting of many facets which meet at a point in the centre The cut has a completely flat base with "star facets" which bring the brilliance out in the stone. It is exotic and has an antique flair.

Diamonelle stones are machine cut to the exact dimensions of genuine diamonds for a fire and brilliance that is superior to the real thing. Diamonelle has a higher level of dispersion (fire) than regular diamonds and corundum (sapphire and rubies), which have toughness ratings of excellent and good to excellent, respectively.
