Everywhere I read how more than a few people find EG's serums or creams "sticky". Yes, they are a bit tacky but that is the torricelumn. I've recently tried the essence of torricelumn and it originates with that formulation. All of Elizabeth's products, except the perfumes, have torricelumn and so the products might have a touch of tacky to them, but it is not all products and it does not last/stay tacky in my experience, it soon turns to a dewy softness. I do recommend EG's serums but also recommend getting them in a showstopper or other economical kit if you can (EG visits every two months) as the single prices are a bit pricey, but no doubt worth it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

All the serums I purchased go on well, but are sticky to the touch once they have dried. Not a very good feeling on the face. There are much better products on the Shopping Channel to choose from.
