Elliott Lucca Narrillos Boxy Satchel

I bought this purse in sand and, after much deliberation, decided to keep it, and now I carry it every day.

On the plus side, the leather, the hardware and decoration are all beautiful. It is mostly very well constructed and the zippers are smooth. Also you can fit a lot in it, which is great. I now carry only one bag to work instead of two.

There are 2 drawbacks. One is that it is soft and much limper than the pictures would indicate (they must have carefully stuffed it with paper for the pictures). Because of this it slouches, and the ends become rather unattractive when it's worn on the long strap. The other potential problem is that I'm not confident it's quite sturdy enough where the long strap attaches to the bag, especially if the bag is heavily filled. It's definitely at its best when carried by the shorter handles.

Also, be aware that instead of an inside back wall zip pocket, there's a full lenth open media pocket for e-reader or tablet.

I still find this bag beautiful and very useful, but I would feel much better about having paid the high price if it didn't have the drawbacks mentioned above.
