Elysee Cosmetics was founded by Dr. Elizabeth Blumenthal over 80 years ago and it continues to thrive as a company devoted to high-quality special treatment products, including anti-aging products and products for those with specific skin issues such as rosacea and stressed skin.
Dr. Blumenthal created the first Elysee product, a hand cream, in 1923. Her expertise in the skincare field brought her acclaim with the U.S. Goverment and she spent time in the Pacific helping troops with skin problems.
The company was brought to the United States in 1940 and was originally only available exclusively through salons where the rich and famous demanded only the best.
