BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

Ditto to SuzyQ's comments. I tried it a few times, but was disapponted. The meat kept sticking to the pan (yes, I oiled it!), and would break apart. In addition, I found the pan too heavy for my taste.
Don't waste your money!

Misleading & High Maintenance

I purchased this with no previous knowledge of maintenance of cast iron cookware. It was advertised as pre-seasoned so I figured I was all set. When I received it and read the instructions, it was quite different - yes it is pre-seasoned but your need to build layers of seasoning to prevent rust and food from sticking to the pan. So after you wash and dry it, preheat the over to 300F, then turn off the heat source and leave the pan in the oven to dry and cool down. While it is still warm, coat it with vegetable oil. It's recommended you do this EVERY TIME you use it; so season with oil prior to each use and after each cleaning. The instructions indicate that if you don't season the pan regularly, you may notice a metallic taste in your food or spots of rust may even form on the pan. Then there are instructions if this happens. It's still sitting on my counter. Too expensive to return. A real high maintenance item. Wish I knew all this prior to making the purchase, would have stuck to my regular cookware.
