Superior Pressure Relief and Responsiveness Less Tossing and Turning for a Better Night’s Sleep Understanding Pressure Points - The human body possesses some areas that create more pressure on the mattress than other areas, depending on your body type and weight. Hip bones, head, elbows, knees, buttocks can all be pressure points that press down harder into the mattress when you lie down than other parts. For those in pain or physical discomfort, these pressure points can be anywhere and are acutely felt during sleep time, especially when one stays in a position for too long.
EnviroTech™ Memory foam’s pressure mapping and comfort properties are well documented. (All good memory foam has pressure mapping relief properties.) The unique consistency of the foam actually molds to your body’s contours, and eases the pressure points, so that the longer you stay in one position, you feel less pressure at that point rather than more as in a conventional mattress. Consequently, you are less likely to need to change position as frequently on memory foam – thus reducing tossing and turning and providing unparalleled sleep comfort.
EnviroTech Memory Foam’s open cell structure is engineered to respond better, conforming to your body’s contours up to 5 times more than even the highest quality traditional closed cell memory foam.
Max Pressure on test body reduced to more than half
Average Pressure felt on test body decreased 15%
Made in the USA and Canada for Eco-Friendly safeness and quality you can count on • EnviroTech™ Memory Foam is manufactured in Canada and Massachusetts. Foam is poured into large “buns” or loaves in the Canadian facility. The US manufacturer in Massachusetts has been a foam fabricator creating foam products for more than 40 years. This company makes the mattress - cutting the foam, sewing the fabric, assembling and testing the layers, and creating a product with the finest US craftsmanship available on the market today.
• EnviroTech Memory Foam is virtually odour free; slight residual odour when first unpacked dissipates within a day or so.
• EnviroTech Memory Foam is naturally hypo-allergenic, meaning that it has less likelihood of causing allergies or breeding allergens.
• EnviroTech Memory Foam is made out of the finest cosmetic-grade ingredients, with no added fillers or harmful ingredients.
• With an environmentally conscious developmental program, the manufacturers are continually seeking options that contribute to ecology conservation and consumer well-being.
• US mattress and topper manufacturer is a Green Initiative Founding Member of the Specialty Sleep Association Environmental & Safety Program, a consumer educational organization.

• EnviroTech Memory Foam carries the CertiPur-US® Certification which means the foam has been independently laboratory tested and certified to meet voluntary standards for content, emission and durability, including:
-Low emission (VOCs) for indoor air quality
-Made without ozone depleters
-Made without PBDEs
-Made without mercury, lead and heavy metals
-Made without formaldehyde
-Made without prohibited phthalates
• Contains naturally derived plant based soy polyols (5% of the foam comes from soy ingredients)
• Contains NO harmful CFCs in the foam or its manufacture, i.e., chlorofluorocarbons that contribute to ozone depletion.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there really a difference in EcoMemory foam quality and other memory foams?
Unlike many popular memory foams on the market today, EnviroTech Memory Foam:
• Has an open cell structure that ensures greater cooling and breathability, and greater responsiveness and pressure relief than traditional closed cell memory foam
• Carries the Certi-PUR® certification ensuring that the foam meets specific criteria standards for physical performance, indoor emissions and environmental stewardship
• Contains a percentage of soy polyols in addition to the traditional polyurethane foam formulation
• Is made in Canada with cosmetic grade ingredients, no fillers or additives
What does pressure mapping and relieving pressure points mean?
When visco elastic foam was first developed for NASA and for use in hospitals, the foam’s property to cushion the body for long periods of time without causing stiffness and soreness was a primary focus. The longer you stay in one position on most traditional sleep surfaces, pressure points are created which eventually cause discomfort and lead you to turn yourself over, tossing and turning. EnviroTech Memory Foam, on the other hand, moulds to the contours of your body so perfectly, it reduces the buildup of pressure points and results in less movement during the night, and more restful rejuvenating sleep.
Pressure mapping is the test on mattresses that measures its maximum pressure, and average pressure. Eco memory foam demonstrates outstanding pressure relieving properties, and reduced pressure points on the body when compared to other traditional mattresses and memory foam mattresses.
Where is the mattress topper made?
The foam is made in Canada, and the mattress is manufactured in the USA. EnviroTech is proud to partner with North American factories with success retaining local workers, recycling nearly 100% of their manufacturing waste materials, and maintaining high quality standards in all of the products they make.
Their US manufacturer is also a Founding Member of the Specialty Sleep Association Green Initiative, an organization committed to improving consumer education in the bedding industry. This progressive company works continuously to manufacture environmentally safe and sustainable products that consumers can count on.
Cooler Feel for more Comfortable Sleep
Traditional memory foam is known to “sleep warm” due to the closed cell structure of the foam which serves as an insulator. EnviroTech® Memory Foam’s open cell structure allows more air flow, and ensures that heat and moisture both dissipate more rapidly, making the foam cooler, instead of becoming trapped in the foam making you feel increasingly warm and “clammy”.
• In fact, heat dissipation and airflow tests show that memory foam dissipates heat 5-8 times faster than traditional memory foam.
• Quick heat dissipation and more airflow throughout the foam translate into a cooler more comfortable night’s sleep for you!
There are 3 types of cooling at work to provide you with a cooler more comfortable sleep experience:
• Dynamic Cooling: The natural open cell structure allows for flowing air movement by convection. When a person shifts in bed, the open cells allow the bed or pillow to breathe, drawing heat away from the body.
• Latent cooling: A unique feature of this cooling property is that the foam actually absorbs heat away from the body
• Greater Heat Conductivity: A material’s ability to conduct heat is a key indicator of its ability to feel cool. Heat transfer across materials of high thermal conductivity like open cell foam occurs at a faster rate than across materials of low thermal conductivity; so heat and moisture both dissipate rapidly and enhance comfort!
Cooling tests on the foam include the following:
Data shows that the foam has a 5-8 times better heat transmission rate than traditional memory foam

Data (above) shows that the open cell Visco dissipates heat 4+ times more rapidly than traditional memory foam.
