Royal Doulton Santa Takes A Break Limited Edition Porcelain Figurine

I bought this as a christmas gift! She loved it, and has it out on display all year round.

I started collecting the christmas figurines
last year.Just loved Rudolph and then when
this one came out with Mrs.Claus and an elf
i just had to have it. Because they are not too large i can display them together on a mantle.
can hardly wait for this years!

I love this piece it is the first one i seen to have Mrs. Claus in it.
The problem i have is with the shipping, the box it was sent in was twice the size and no packing material around the smaller box, the cover was off it,and it had 2 limited edition certificates inside, the one for my piece and another 1924 which someone will not receive.
Lucky the product was not damaged and arrived safe and sound.The shipping department should be talked to or fired for there poor packing.

I have collected santa figures for many years however this my first figurine. I bought it as a dazz;ing deal and it is certainly worth the money. There is a lot of detail and although it is smaller it is lovely. I will keep it on the mantle all year.

I started collecting the RD Santa's a few years ago. Loved them. When I opened this years I was very disappointed in Santa's face. He looked pale, like he was sick. The other characters were not pale. I have not sent this back but I did sell it to a friend who also collects them. The other problem was it was much smaller then the others I have purchased from the shopping channel. Hope you do better next year.

Received this product today not sure if a real Royal Doulton made in china does not have the crown on it like the Royal Doultons from England and the number is not marked on the item its on a separate card...will be sending product back no comparison to the other Royal Doultons.

I started collecting the Christmas Santa figure in 2006. The first couple of years, they were very large and worth every penny. I noticed they got smaller, and then smaller again and then finally this year, it is less than half the size of the originals. I was very disappointed and put it right back in the box. Also, when I got mine, the box it came in had been torn open, the lid of the white Royal Doulton box was crushed and the shipping tape around the white foam to hold the two pieces together also had been removed and put back on. It is ovbious someone tampered with it before I got it. Perhaps they opened it at Canada Post although I can't for the life of me think why?
