GT Xpress 2 Pack

i bought one too and used it as directed, cleaned as directed, and the coating came off. maybe there's a defect in the production why some ppl have a good experience with it and ppl like me don't. i wouldn't buy one again unless the coating were done better. i couldn't use mine after a few uses, like other ppl on here have complained about. and like another person said, the price must reflect it's quality because so many ppl are returning it. i couldn't return it as i had been out of the country with it for over a month.

I bought the GT Express last year because I thought the price was great. I gave one to my sister and we primarily use it to heat leftovers. I always coat the inside with Pam spray before putting food in and then wipe wih paper towel when done. I have not had any problems with the coating coming off, maybe I'm one of the lucky ones. The pan itself heats up quickly and is very hot on both sides. I would have preferred the larger cooking surface instead of the dividers, but I believe the newer models have removable trays. Still this works just fine for my purpose. There are some foods that just don't taste right when reheated in the microwave and this is a great alternative without having to fire up the oven for a small piece of chicken etc.

This could easily have been a five-star gadget for making quick, small snacks (i.e. little omelettes). However, food constantly sticks to the cooking surface and even though we only used the plastic spatula that comes with the GT Express, the coating soon began to flake off and the GT Express became unusable. So, if the company could improve the coating, this would be a great product. Otherwise, not so much.

This product did an adequate job the first few uses. However, the non-stick coating soon started coming off and I ended up throwing it out. The reduced price likely relfects TsC's inability to sell the the GT Express (with good reason). Don't forget - you get what you pay for!

I use the both of these in our motorhome and fifth wheel. It is portable and easy to use and clean up. Would highly recommend.

I first purchased this item several years ago when it first debuted on TSC. I have been using it regularly over the years and have never experienced one problem. I am shocked by some of the negative reviews. First off, you should only clean this product with a soft cloth or paper towel. And yes, possibly the finish would be comprised if you were to use an abrasive cleaner. You have to treat this machine with the same respect that you would with any coated frying pan. I have been using my machine for years and there is no evidence of peeling anywhere.This machine is absolutely fabulous for whipping up a couple of quick omelettes, toasted sandwiches, mini-cakes for the kids or cooking any type of veggies, potatoes, etc. The machine heats up very quickly and it is very hot on both the top and bottom. The machine cooks evenly as well. The machine is a quick and easy clean unless you were to overfill one of the sides with cake mix, egg mixture, etc. and it spills over the sides & onto the back where the hinges and cord are. This is no different than having a pot run over on your stove onto the burners. Common sense!I am now looking to purchase the upgraded model which is higher in cost because I feel that this machine is quick with minimal clean-up. If you are looking for a bargain i wouldn't hesitate to grab two GT Xpress machines for this price. You will not be disappointed for [$] each.A fantastic little machine! I love it!!

this is the worst machine i have ever used. i bought these and they have not been used at all. they are fit to go into the garbage.

I purchased the GT Xpress 2 pack a while back. Food always stuck and the non stick coating came off. The heating temperatures were terrible. I thew them both in the bin. I would never use this product again even if I got it for free.

I love the GT express!!!! I use it almost everday. Perfect for making wraps and desserts. I have also tried several recipes from the enclosed booklet. They are fast and easy. If you like fast easy meals this is the product for you!

This is a great concept but the coating is so poor it comes off without any effort on the part of the user. Great idea for one or two people but my two are at the back of my cupboard. will brobably throw them out
