Sterling Silver & Rhodium Plate Tanzanite & Diamond Ring

The Tanzanite gems were dull and grey-looking. There is no symmetry to the design and I did not like the fact that the ring sits completely flat on your finger. I was disappointed and sent it back.

Overall, the one that I received was very pretty, but the diamonds? They're grey, lack any luster and if this is the best that could have been scattered in the setting, the ring would look better without them because their quality cheapens the overall perceived value of the ring. How important are the diamonds, well, that's up to you. For me it was a disappointment, but still I've kept the ring as overall, it is quite pretty. So, do I say yes to the ring? Yes, but buyer be aware.

The Tanzanites were a bit paler than I expected but clear and shiney and the diamonds are cloudy, but all in all it is still a very pretty ring. For this price I'm keeping mine.

For the price this is a beautiful little ring. Actually it isn;t all that little. I expected it to be the colour it was from the website. Inexpensive tanzanite is this pale mauve/blue colour. I accented it with a tazanite band for my index finger and the look is dynamite! Add the hoop earrings and it is quite an ensemble. It looks great with denim and blue as well as grey. Glad got it. I have deep purple tanzanite from the "Old Mine" and that colour is very rare now.

I was given this ring as a gift for my 31st birthday from my parents. The tanzanites are beautiful... That beautiful deep purplish blue with lots of burgundy reddish flecks that come through... and my diamonds aren't cloudy... Really happy with this ring.... Guess I am a very lucky one :)

I love this ring: I call it my snowflake ring. The one I received had colours not like this photo, but more like the photo of the matching necklace. I love the colour since I wanted the blue-purple that I saw on TV that day. Its not deep tone, but a cool, soft lilac tone.

The ring wears very well - low profile so it doesn't catch on things and looks modern and beautiful on my hand. I am often getting compliments on it. Its feels great on my hand - and with no nickle, I can keep this piece long term.

The only negative is that the diamond chips are too small to see - who cares! I've enjoyed all my purchases from Gems in Silver.

I've been wearing and loving it for months. I must be one of the lucky ones!

I guess I must have been one of the lucky ones too as my tanzanites look a very deep lilac in colour. Can't say much about the diamond accents, but then that's all they are...accents totalling .05ct, so one can't expect much out of that kind of size!!! So I'm keeping the ring after all! Wish Howard would bring us back the ring sets he used to before, as I miss them!

I love tanzanites and bought this ring because I thought it was good value and I could afford it. Imagine my disappointment when I received the ring and found the stones to be almost colourless. At night the ring should have had some sparkle but it looked absolutely dull. I had no alternative but to send it back. What I expected was the colour, especially in the tanzanite, that is similar to that displayed on your website - you can see the difference between the colour of the ring and its matching pieces (which are much duller).

what I love about the ring is the band and the setting. However, I too received a ring with stones that were extremely washed out and colorless. I had also purchased the pendant, and unfortnately the stones in it were also dull and colorless. Howard, I normally love your pieces. You could really make this up to all of us by putting this ring and setting together again with some beautiful vibrant stones of any color! PLEASE! The band was so beautiful and comfortable, but with regret I sent both the ring and pendant back. I will still purchase Howard's pieces.
