Too Small for a Pendant

By Marjorie

from Edmonton

All Star Reviewer

I have small collection of London Blue topaz pieces, rings and earrings. I was looking for a comparable pendant. When this suite arrived I liked the size of the stone in the ring being 10x14 mm, and even the earrings. But I felt that the pendant stone was far too small, and should have been double the size. Topaz is not an expensive stone and it can be made in many colors. I ordered all three pieces but was not impressed by the pendant size, and with the strictness of TSC's 30 day return policy, I decided to return the pendant and earrings for it was going to be late Nov. to early December before the ring would be shipped. If I did not like the ring I would be stuck with the pendant and earrings. I received the ring Dec. 3 and I intend on keeping it. I re-ordered the earrings in rhodium plate, but not the pendant. Please make a larger pendant in London Blue.

london blue topaz

The london blue topaz takes centre stage on this setting - it is a gorgeous shade of deep teal blue. The product description states a total of 28 white sapphire stones in the setting - most of which are not visible to my naked eye - perhaps with a jeweller's loop one could find ALL 28 of these white sapphires but only a couple shine/twinkle - it even appears that where a white stone should be there is none. Even at the Holiday Price this purchase was a major investment - not thousands mind you but not costume jewellery either for the price. Overall guess I'm paying for the london blue topaz stone.
