About Bob Weinman

Third generation jewelry designer Bob Weinman grew up experiencing the art of jewelry making visiting his father and grandfather at their family business. Engrained with a strong sense of tradition, Bob felt passionate about continuing the business his grandfather created nearly one hundred years ago. Several years back, Bob discovered the original molds and models from his grandfather’s line, which inspired the creation of Generations 1912. The craftsmanship and attention to detail of the Art Deco era motivated Bob to continue creating fine jewelry with the look and feel of that bygone period. His family pride, interest, and passion for the business continues with the creation of exciting new items from his grandfather’s collection.

beautiful, get a size up

Par Sue

I love the ring and will keep it. Insentive to lose some weight and go down a ring size . I wear size 8 and it's more of a 7 -7 1/2. Love the details outside and inside. All around a very nice ring .

Wonderful companion ring.

I was lucky enough to have bought an Alexandrite ring from the same company which had 5 large stones mounted across the narrow band. It always looked like it needed something else to go with it. Now I have found the perfect ring. I now wear them as a set. The ornate metal work is quite similar and the gold colour almost matches perfectly. The gold plate makes it look like 18 K gold. The first ring was 14 K gold, so there is slight discrepancy in colour. I feel very fortunate to have any Alexandrite in my jewelry collection.

Beautiful Ring!

The work and detail on the ring are fabulous! It is a wide ring so I don`t use it for every day wear. I have also put it on a long gold chain and it looks wonderful. I think it is great value for the money I paid.

really disappointed!!!!!

Par WOWMOM

This ring was too wide from finger to finger, bulky on the hand and fingers. The prongs were high and scratched any skin they touched. I ordered a size 8 but it fit like a size 7. The stones did not change colour and were actually too blue to look like real alexandrite, not colour changing at all. I sent it back as I was very disappointed especially for the price. Not a deal at all and not worth the money.

Happy 100th!

Love the ring, stones, workmanship and the goldplating - looks just like solid 18K gold. Yes, it is a little uncomfortable between the fingers but I wear it on my left hand (I'm right handed) so there's less irritation. The weight is significant so isn't for anyone of a delicate nature!

Beautiful to look at

I just received this ring and was so thrilled when I opened the precious ring box it came in; but when I tried to get it on my finger it was way too small even though I had ordered a size up. I also found it to be rough to the touch.
I will be returning it with regret.

All that glitters isn't gold

Par Cathryn

I had the same problem; the ring hurt my other fingers. However, I sent it to New York and they filed down the claws and now it doesn't hurt. But the gold plate on my ring is starting to come off; don't know if that is because I sent it to New York and they did something or else it is just poor quality plating. I am not impressed as this is my first purchase from the line and may end up being my last.

Exquisite design

The detail and design of this eternity band is the most unusual I have seen. The stones are perfectly matched and the amount of engraving is extrordinary.

This Is A Quality Ring

I bought this ring a few monthes back and I thought I had written a review.I must say that this is a chic ring. The silver and design speak of quality. Each time I wear it I receive compliments and everyone thinks it is gold which I let them believe. Although the stones are small it is the design that gives it that great look.I am happy to have bought it and I am looking forward to buying the matching bangle.

Work of Art

Par Sonia

de Toronto

Heirloom yes, yet modern and feminine.
One would think I inherited it from Grandma who had good taste.
Gemstones go all around, so if you are overly sensitive you may be a bit uncomfortable with it's style: I felt it comfortable though.
Got the gold; Can't tell it's not 18K gold.
Wise choice. No regrets.
