Peek a Boo Sterling Silver & 18K Gold Plate Ring

I love wearing this ring, it's bold without being flashy. I was surprised by the construction though. Instead of soldering the top disc to the bottom one at the edge where they meet, there are tiny metal tabs from the top inserted through holes in the bottom and folded over. I find that you can feel the tabs scratch against your finger and they were catching on fabric constantly. I had to get some pliers and try to bend them flatter. Not a deal breaker for me, but I think it's really dumb that they made it that way.
