Sacoche Heys en cuir de la collection Jewels of Serendib

I ordered this in the black. I loved the look of the purse and the style. It looks elegant; great in the picture, and it looks the same in real. The black has a patent front pocket, and patent handles which adds a different flair. Zipper pull works well. The size of the purse I thought would hold what my other purses that approximate this size would, but it did not. With the leather being so smooth it looked perfect with the paper stuffing. Once the stuffing was removed and I put my things inside like wallet, keys, cheque book, etc. inside, the corners of the contents poked the leather outward making ripples & dents all over. It would only maintain the structured shape if very little was put inside which defeats the purpose of a larger size bag. That is why I described it as deceiving. The leather is too thin to hold that structured look. Sadly it is being returned.

While this is a beautiful handbag, the fact that the sides on the front outside pocket of the handbag are not completely sewn shut is the reason I am only giving it two stars. There is enough of a gap at the bottom on both sides that the inside pocket could be damaged by rainy weather. Considering the price of this handbag, I would have expected better quality control. I will be returning this handbag.
