Heys 3 Piece Zebra - price was good

I bought this initially because of the special pricing, the exclusivity (supposedly) and the durability. I have had it for almost a year. It has stood up fairly well but does scratch - unlike what Shopping Channel will tell you. Pricing was very good, it does have a dust cover for each case but the smallest case only has one handle which is a bit odd. The price would make me buy it again and I really have no complaints but nowadays everyone has great discounts on luggage all the time. It is lightweight compared to what I used to own.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I will never buy Heys luggage again. Used my luggage once and the handles broke, and the outside is all scratched up. After contacting Heys about the problem, they were no help. Never again

Not what I expected

I had written a review on this luggage previously but have used it on my first vacation since then. I gave it a high rating a I thought it looked like it would stand up. Unfortunately, first trip out, the handle on the side of the large suitcase broke. There was a cheap plastic part on either side of the handle that snapped right off the first time it was picked up by a luggage handler. I was so disappointed. Also, the wheels on the largest suitcase did not negotiate well at all. It kept wanting to pull in a different direction. I would send it back except I have read the other reviews and don't feel like spending even more money to try and get it fixed. Should anyone ask my opinion, I would not buy these again and I would not recommend to anyone. However, I must say the carry on size was a delight. I haven't used the middle size yet so I can't comment.

So Far So Good

I bought the Damask set when it was the SS and I just recently took it to Australia for a month & travelled all over. I have found the luggage to be be quite good. Held a large amount as I came back with more than I left with, love the spinner wheels as it was so easy to move the pieces around. Love the locks as it felt so much more secure. Now the large suitcase does have a scratch on it upon returning, but the way the luggage is thrown around, not a big deal. I have not had any problems with the zipper, but if that is the case then Heys needs to deal with that. Love the Damask, easy to retrieve.

Unfit For Air Travel

Brand new Heys Executive Series Heritage falling apart and cannot sustain simple handling. Product quality and warranty are definitely not as advertised. This is NOT TSC's problem - it is squarely a Heys issue. Heys may as well increase their warranty to "lifetime", as they don't honour it and it is worthless anyway. Do not buy this junk.

I purchased 2 sets of luggage one as a gift and the other for myself. It looked great when we unpacked it. I didn't examine it closely until I was ready to pack for our trip. I noticed that the zipper on 30" and on the 26" had not been stitched to the suitcase. A small thin piece of binding held in place with two way tape had come loose because it had not been stitched either or I may not have noticed.I gave away our old luggage and after seeing the poor workmanship of the Heys and some of the comments, I'm very worried about our belongings on our upcoming vacation.

Poor Quality Useless Warranty
Bought Heys 3 piece show stopper less than 5 years ago. Within 3 years the cheap plastic handle broke off and while still under warranty the material ripped apart while rolling on a flat service with less than 20kl in largest piece.I contacted Heys and they would not replace nor fix it.Save your money buy better quality than this cheap junk.I had a Heys bag before and the Zipper broke, I should have known better than to purchase this junk.
Don't stand up. Don't honor warranty.
I have had two sets of heys luggage. I got the the second set because I wanted the spinner that I could hook together. Well the large 30 inch had the zipper split. Heys would not help, and TSC didn't have the order listed in my purchases and said Heys had the order and of course Heys said that TSC had the order. I had the zipper fixed on my own and on the next trip the zipper was broken again. This one had a ten year warranty - so much for that.

I have a set of Heys luggage in the zebra and I am always asked where I got it. It certainly helps to find your luggage easier at the airport. Just bought the blue tartan for my husband. He likes the luggage as well. The carry-on piece is great for rolling down the aisles.
