So Far So Good
from Saanichton, BC
I bought the Damask set when it was the SS and I just recently took it to Australia for a month & travelled all over. I have found the luggage to be be quite good. Held a large amount as I came back with more than I left with, love the spinner wheels as it was so easy to move the pieces around. Love the locks as it felt so much more secure. Now the large suitcase does have a scratch on it upon returning, but the way the luggage is thrown around, not a big deal. I have not had any problems with the zipper, but if that is the case then Heys needs to deal with that. Love the Damask, easy to retrieve.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Unfit For Air Travel
By John Wants Quality
from Calgary (Alberta)
Brand new Heys Executive Series Heritage falling apart and cannot sustain simple handling. Product quality and warranty are definitely not as advertised. This is NOT TSC's problem - it is squarely a Heys issue. Heys may as well increase their warranty to "lifetime", as they don't honour it and it is worthless anyway. Do not buy this junk.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I purchased 2 sets of luggage one as a gift and the other for myself. It looked great when we unpacked it. I didn't examine it closely until I was ready to pack for our trip. I noticed that the zipper on 30" and on the 26" had not been stitched to the suitcase. A small thin piece of binding held in place with two way tape had come loose because it had not been stitched either or I may not have noticed.I gave away our old luggage and after seeing the poor workmanship of the Heys and some of the comments, I'm very worried about our belongings on our upcoming vacation.
Blue Plaid, LOVE THEM
By Kelly K
LOVE the 3 pieces. Easier to find. Love the way I had received them. Taken extra care to make sure they arrived prefect. Light weight and size even better.

Poor Quality Useless Warranty
Bought Heys 3 piece show stopper less than 5 years ago. Within 3 years the cheap plastic handle broke off and while still under warranty the material ripped apart while rolling on a flat service with less than 20kl in largest piece.I contacted Heys and they would not replace nor fix it.Save your money buy better quality than this cheap junk.I had a Heys bag before and the Zipper broke, I should have known better than to purchase this junk.

Don't stand up. Don't honor warranty.
I have had two sets of heys luggage. I got the the second set because I wanted the spinner that I could hook together. Well the large 30 inch had the zipper split. Heys would not help, and TSC didn't have the order listed in my purchases and said Heys had the order and of course Heys said that TSC had the order. I had the zipper fixed on my own and on the next trip the zipper was broken again. This one had a ten year warranty - so much for that.

I have a set of Heys luggage in the zebra and I am always asked where I got it. It certainly helps to find your luggage easier at the airport. Just bought the blue tartan for my husband. He likes the luggage as well. The carry-on piece is great for rolling down the aisles.

Purchased two separate sets of Hey's showstoppers over the years. Sorry to say - disappointed with the quality of the handles. Very cheap plastic that just cannot withstand the tough airport shipping. One handle broke while loading in the taxi on the way to the airport - and when the handles are broken- they are rendered useless, so it really was inconvenient. Not the first time handles broke while on a trip. We have a graveyard of Hey's now and unfortunately, the cost to ship for replacing the handles is just not worth it. Like the cases - disappointed with the hardware!

When I received this set I was pleased with the look, and originally left a positive review. However, I have since taken a trip and used the 26" and the handles broke very easily when picking up to put in the vehicle. The handles are very cheap, contacted the shopping channel and was told I had to contact heys for the warranty?*!Reading another TSC customer review stated they had the same experience and contacted TSC and was told to contact Heys, they had pay to ship it back to heys and it was quite costly! My worry is if the 26" did this what will the 30" do and the 21", I ship back the one and may have to eventually ship the others back as well as I can guarantee the handles will break on the other two?I asked TSC if they would do a recall on this set as it seems to be a common theme with the cheaply made handles.I owned a turquoise 21" heys a few years prior to purchasing this set and have been on many trips with it and it is still like new, no issues at all with the handles or the suitcase, which is why I purchased this set?Very disappointed with this heys set and the inconvenience of having to pay to ship it back to heys from B.C.!

Poor, Poor Quality - Poor Repair Policy!
from Creighton SK
I already owned a 2 piece Heys set that was great, but wanted a 30". Bought the set Sept 15/13 and received it Sept 23/13. Just came back from Montreal and the plastic cover on the 30" handle was broken, rendering the handle useless.Called TSC, they said I couldn't get the defective case back to them within their 30 day limit.Contacted Heys in Toronto, they will fix it, but I had to pay to ship it back.I live 500 miles north of Winnipeg, and the cheapest cost to ship out back to Heys was $56.00+ via Bus - I only paid $249.95 for the FULL Set to begin with. There's no point in not getting it fixed, the 30" suitcase is useless otherwise. Also, for those who fly those smaller planes with a major Airline Carrier - the 21" Carry on DOES NOT FIT in their overhead bins. I found THAT out flying back from Montreal to Winnipeg. Had to keep it under my feet the full trip (no leg room), while my husband used our old 21" and it fit NO PROBLEM in those bins. When I spoke to Heys Customer service about this, they didn't really care. Just because the overall dimensions of the 21" may be the same as before, the configuration doesn't allow them to fit on smaller planes. The biggest KICKER of all . . . that diamond embossed finish they boasted about SCRATCHES EASILY!! Both my 30" and 21" new Leopard pieces are scratched and scraped all over. SO disappointed with these cases - they are poor quality and don't fit where they should!!
