Lights do not work
I bought the tree on October 23,2010 and I put it up on December 5,2010 and already the light do not all work. It is not as described by the ad on TV.Not nearly as nice as it looked when it was being advertized.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bought the 7 1/2 foot tree at the showstopper price. It took quite a bit longer then the advertised 5 minutes to set up due to the fact one of the lights was missing in the middle section! After we replaced it, the lights all did work and it is a nice tree, reasonable price. But don't expect it to take only 5 minutes to set up.

Not so great
This tree is not as full as it appears in picturesand for the price I thought pretty poor. Also it was not so easy to assemble and the instructionswere almost unreadable. The only reason we are not returning it is the nuisence of trying to pack it back up.
EASY TO SET UP!!!
The tree was super easy to set up, but like other reviews, I found that it was not as full as shown during the program or the picture. I suppose the "holes" can be filled with larger ornaments. Sure beats stringing lights on the tree!!! Good tree for the price.
It was fairly good for the price
I bought the 7-foot tree at the sale price. The tree really didn't take long to set up. Next year it will likely only take the 5 to 7 minutes to do. The tree was not as full as some of the online pictures showed, but as full as one or two of the pictures of it that were backlit. Overall I find the 'new breed' of artificial tree is a bit skimpier than the older ones, the last tree I bought 12 years ago was fuller. If you consider that they don't make them like they used to, then this is a very nice tree, and good for the price. The top is particularly nice. The lights are very evenly distributed and there is just the right amount of them in my opinion. About half or more of the branches are nice and soft at the ends, but there are two kinds of branches on this tree. The kind that are not soft have rough edges that gave me a scratch when I opened the tree. This is because they have a metal internal structure that has been cut straight off at the tip. On my old tree the metal ends were curled under, but not so on this tree. Knowing this now, I probably won't get scratched next year.
Reasonable tree at a reasonable price

Very satisfied customer
We received our 7 foot tree on time and it was very easy to set up, it is as full as seen on TV, does come in three sections and it's pretty obvious which section goes where, I'm 5'2" and I did it myself in about 15 minutes, all the branches fall into place with no mess of pine needles on the floor.I'm really happy I bought it at the show stopper price, but I still recommend it at the higher price because compared to what is out there, you are getting a much better value for your money. It doesn't feel like paper branches it feels natural to the touch. It looks really good, it's easy to set up and easy to put down and the lights are all in the right places automatically.

This tree is OK for the price I paid for it. It is no where near as full as the picture depicts it to be. It does have a nice shape and I don't think I will need to fuss with it much. I just hope once I decorate it you won't notice how sparse it is.

I never thought I would buy a fake Xmas tree - but this one is fabulous! If only it could set up itself each year? Then it would be totally perfect!Thank U!

We were excited when we saw this tree on TV. We thought it was time to get an artificial one. When it arrived today, we couldn't wait to open the box. Imagine our surprise then when we saw that many of the branches are not the plush, thick ones as shown on TV or in the photos online - many are in fact sparse and weedy looking, like some of the branches you see on cheaper, big box store trees. However, we decided to wait and see what the whole tree looked like. The stand was easy enough to put up and each section fit onto the pole well although the tree weighs 55lbs and the sections need 2 people on the 9ft to maneouvre as they are heavy. We started reading the manual and found that none of the sections were colour coded as described - they were all the same colour! Then none of the section tags were as described - everything turned out to be the reverse of what was written. Common sense is all that's needed to work out the right way so that was all right, but we did find that some of the branches will need shaping and it didn't take 5 minutes - more like an hour. Maybe it'll be 5 minutes after you've owned it a couple of years. Maybe the branches once shaped won't need it again or just need it first time out of the box. Now that it's up and all the lights are on, it does look quite good. The higher up the tree you look, the plusher the branches get but there is a mix of plush and thin all the way up. The cords also need fine-tuning which my patient husband took care of.Our jury is still out on whether we keep it so we're giving it a couple of days in the house to see how we feel. Our neighbours will think we've gone mad if they see it through the windows but we think it's only right to give it a fair try. For us, it just seems to be missing the 'wow' factor we were expecting or maybe we expected too much. So I would say to those that have just received theirs or might be thinking of getting one, that maybe it just needs patience and perseverence when you're first putting it together. I would recommend it for its value which is good compared to retail store trees out there and to friends I would say a 'yes' but with reservations.
