How do you trouble shoot?
The lights either work or they don't. We purchased 6 sets of lights, 2 strings of 3. After two days, one string went out. Had to unplug the other set for balance. Now we have blackness at the top of the eves. Due to the height they were put up and the difficulty, they will have to stay until after Christmas.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

lovely lights, they forgot to put a loop for hanging. Get many comments on them
different and pretty
The dripping icicles are very nice and different from the norm for outdoor lights. I only bought one set and you will need more if you are planning to install them on the roof, etc. I would be wary about using them indoors - they are quite long and surprisingly heavy.

tought to hang.
These lights are gorgeous. They sparkle in the daytime, and when lite. WOW. The only draw back is in hanging.

Concern about hanging icicles.
One important concern about the lights is the extremely small gage wire going to the individual lights. There is no eye or hook and you have to hang the light by the supply wire. In a wind and time, I can see the wires breaking off. At least with a standard light set, you have a heavy gage wire to deal with. Personally, I am going to come up with a bracket and not depend hanging each icicle by the wire.
