I purchased the 5 foot tree, and as mentioned by earlier reviews, there were gaps in the tree even after substantial fluffing. I put stuffed animals in those spots to hide those big gaps. A video was shown on TSC of a woman putting the tree together....easily. That wasn't the case for us. It's quite a heavy tree and the top part would not light at first. My husband had to fiddle with the connections and I literally had to lift the tree up and bang the top part into the connecting bottom pole before it would light up. I can foresee difficulty taking it apart. Not as easy as shown on their video. I've hid the gaps with ornaments and after the decorations are on and the lights are lit, it's pretty. I like the easy off/on switch you can step on.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Tree not like 3 years ago.
By Jem Reader
Bought a 7 ft. tree on TSC 3 years ago. Can't climb to decorate now so bought this 5 ft. one. I agree with a lot of the other comments re branches take a lot of fluffing to get it half decent. My biggest problem is had a hard time getting decorations on as brancches are stiff and cannot gather them up to get a hanging ornament on them. It's decorated but will not return, don't have the old one anymore as I gave it to a Church Auction.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Put our tree up last night ( 5ft) and had no problems assembling or fluffing the branches. Put our decorations on tonight and it looks great. The one thing I wish is that they included the size of the lights as the bag the extra lights came in don't state size anywhere or on the bulb. Would like them with some mixed colors for more show. But all in all I have no complaints. Maybe the negative comments should give it a chance.

Not worth the price tag!
When I saw this tree on TSC it looked absolutely stunning. However, that must have been the magic of television as the tree in real life reminds me of the very first artificial tree that was ever produced. It definitely looks fake and cheap. It is, however, easy to assemble but there are huge gaps in the tree (even after substantial fluffing) and you can see the wires and connectors. On the other hand disassembling the tree is is very difficult at best. Quite frankly I am surprised that TSC would offer such an inferior product. I definitely would not recommend this tree to anyone.
Beautiful Christmas Tree
Put this tree up today. Did not take very long to fluff all of the branches. Lights on each section went on as soon as it was attached to the previous section. Tree is very full and looks great. Cannot wait to see it with all of the decorations on it. I have had many trees over the years, however, this one is the nicest one yet. So much fuller than many ones in big box stores that are so much more expensive. I bought this one as a Showstopper, so I am very happy with this purchase.
Easy assembly but not like real
from woodstock. ontario
Tree is easy to set up and the lights are beautiful. However, there is no way someone will think this is a real tree. There are far too many gaps in the branches and it looks like a fake tree. Disappointed in this after seeing the show about how it compares to other artificial trees.
Love my tree
from Nova Scotia
I put my tree up today very easy to do no problems with that part .Fluffed the branches and it is beautiful even before the decorations are on .It is not a monster tree but is the perfect size for my space . I am sorry so many people did not give the tree a chance and fluff it to see how nice it is Taking it apart I can not comment on because it will not be coming down until first week in January .All I can say is Merry Christmas and thank you for my perfect tree
Not that bad
I ordered the 9' tree. Didn't find it as horrible as others have stated. You do have to spend some time fluffing and tweaking the branches, and it is not quite as full as I was expecting but overall not horrible and not worth the hassle to send it back.
Up in ten minutes and looks great
from Thunder Bay
I think people are being too critical of this tree. I bought it about a month ago and have been afraid to unpack it given all the negative reviews. Within ten minutes, the stand was assembled, and the three sections of the tree in place. yes, I had to fluff it up a bit. Yes, if you stand a couple of feet from the tree you can see the centre pole, but I am confident that once I decorate with ornaments everyone will love it. I already do. Writing this review was more frustrating and time consuming than assembling this lovely tree.

The tree stand should be your first clue. Cheap. The 5 foot tree is more like a 3 1/2 foot tree! Customers should not have to pay to return such poor quality merchandise.Very disappointed in TSC.
