For all our expensive leather shoes I have cedar shoe-trees inside. Obviously they are more costly, but if one watches specific type stores that sell them, one can often get good deals at sale times. I was looking for something that would fit certain styles of women's shoes that a full shoe tree could not be used, and these bit the bill. I must have been very fortunate, for I ordered a batch of these in Grey, and not one has broken off, or tore and I have had them for three years at least. These work very well in women's mule style shoes; sandals with little to almost no backings or just straps; beach cross-overs;cloth running shoes that just need to freshen the toe structure, and even my house slippers. That is the only way that I would recommend these being used.

TSC were generous and refunded me for these.
They are a great concept and I hope that they will be offered again with a better product.
I have tried to use the original ones but they still don't work.

Don't buy these. This is a great idea but it needs to be improved. I got some with the hangers showstopper and the handle stays in your hand while the shaper stays in the shoe. One was already apart when I unpacked. That's so unfortunate. Bad :(
