Hush Puppies Equine Short Riding Boot with Buckle Detail

Shoes or boots can be tricky to buy on-line so sometimes I'll order two different sizes to be on the safe side to be sure I get what I want.
But with these boots my 7.5 size was perfect. (I admit I'm lucky with sizes). The grade of leather is outstanding and the classic style means they will be 'in-style' forever. All the neat things Hush Puppies puts in to making the shoe/boot really work and they are a joy to wear and walk in.

although the Hush Puppies boots are flattering, they had somewhat of a sizing problem as also described in a few reviews. i own many hush puppies in other style shoes, etc, but never had to actually stretch any of them as i did with one of these as the boot felt tighter just below the instep which i didn't expect. after stretching both of them rather than one...they did fit better and i'm glad i purchased a shoe stretcher quite some time ago, or i would not have kept them. it was a bit disappointing, but because of this, i really should have given them a 3 rating. i'm not sure if i would recommend them or not

Beautifully made boot, stylish and 'expensive' look. Very good value for money at the Showstopper price. Agree with majority of posters that the boots fit small. Ordered for my daughter, her usual 6.5, and she asked me to return them. She wears socks in boots (it's Alberta and it's winter:). Sent them back but because she really liked the style, re-ordered a full size up (7.5) and they are now perfect.

I was hesitant to purchase this pair of boots, after reading the reviews. I had been looking for this colour & style for sometime & when they went on sale I could not resist.
I just received them, opened the box immediately & prepared for a struggle to get my foot into the boot. However, much to my surprise, my foot went right in very easily. I zipped them up & was very pleased with the comfort. I ordered my regular size, 7.5, then wondered if I should have sized up to a size 8, but unfortunately it was gone. The size 7.5 were just fine, afterall! I would certainly recommend this pair of beautiful, well made Hush Puppy boots to anyone who is still sitting on the fence. You won't be sorry!
Oh yes, and I also have a high arch!

I ordered these in 9.5 - - specifically because I could order that extra half size. The boot fits fantastic, good leather and stylish. I found there is lots of wiggle room for the toes and the foot is well spread out. I got them at the ShowStopper price so that makes me smile - - wished I had ordered the tan the same day. This is my first Hush Puppy purchase and I am very happy.

I bought these boots in the tan in my normal size of 6.5...I have another pair of Hush Puppies boots that are a 6.5, I think you probably know where I'm headed with this comment.I could barely get my foot in these boots,even my smaller foot.I considered exchanging them but when I checked the site there were only black boots in size 6 left.I see now there are a lot of boots back,and a lot of other ladies that the boots didn't fit.Anyway,I bought boots from a different online seller and I love them.Although I loved the look of these I had no idea what size I would exchange them for if there had been more sizes when I sent mine back.Hush Puppy really missed this time on the sizing...can't imagine what went wrong.

I ordered the size 8 boot in brown, and was so disappointed to find I could hardly fit into it even when wearing nylon knee highs. Back they went. Time to do size control checks!

These are well made and stylish, however with a high instep and arch I could not get the on. Problems with many of the boots that are in fashion, most of them do not have enough depth in this area. It would be nice if the designers took this into more consideration as I am sure I am not the only person with issues.

I would recommend them to a friend who doesn't have high arches.

I'm sure that this boot would look wonderful on if I could get get them on. I ordered my usual size 9 and they were so narrow I couldn't even get my foot in them. Unfortunately, they are going back.

I bought two pairs, one black and one brown, on the most recent show stopper. I wanted some ankle boots that you could wear every day more or less. They look nice so no complaints there. However they were so narrow and I don't have broad feet. I tried walking around in the house with them on for a while and they were so uncomfortable. I was so disappointed with them that I sent them both back for a refund.
