About Jade of Yesteryear

This collection is inspired by designer Stella Chow's personal collection of jade that she has acquired over the years from all around the world. Since most of the jade carvings in this collection are over century old, it makes them very difficult to replicate. For this reason, Jade of Yesteryear sought tirelessly to contact a master jade carver to bring you the art of jade carving that has been lost throughout the years. This collection features replicas of old jade carvings and sterling silver pieces mixed with gemstones and cubic zirconia's.

About the Designer

A true woman of the world, Stella Chow is a Chinese woman born in Taiwan, raised in North Africa and educated in the United States. She adores jewellery and has spent over 30 years of her life collecting it with a special interest in jade effects. She finds this collection especially fascinating because it creates a bridge between East and West—antique Chinese jade fashioned in Western style. It is very classic, yet as timely today as it was in the era the original pieces were made. Chow brings you this collection as your own personal way to wear art and history together.
