Not the usual Egyptian cotton sheets
I love Egyptian cotton sheets and have purchased them from the TSC before. However, these sheets have a chemical smell that does take several washes in order to be gone. I am disappointed that after two washes the embroidered hem had ravelled and come apart. Also these sheets wrinkle so much especially the embroidered hem which is sad because it is so pretty. Maybe if the embroidery was through both sides this would not happen.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not like other Egyptian Cotton Sheets
I have other 100% Egyptian cotton sheets from the TSC and expected these to be of the same quality which they are not. The chemical smell is hard to get out, they wrinkle so much no matter how careful you are, the sheets are not as soft compared to others, and after 2 washes the embroidered hem had come apart and the material had unravelled.

I love these sheets. They are very Pretty. I don't mind a little ironing, I do that anyway, like to have them crisp looking no matter what. They are definately going to fit, they are ample in size for sure. Nice to have something that is not going to be too small. The fabric is so soft once they are pressed out and on the bed, I just love them! Thank You TSC another winner in my books!

Great Sheet Set
I posted earlier complaining of an odor like petroleum, but after a few more washes it is completely gone. I love these sheets! So soft and because they are egyptian cotton 400 ct they hold heat in as well, which I love during the winter. I get too hot in fleece sheets. So these sheets are a warm hug every night. Totally love them and happy I have 2 sets!

The sheets are very generous in size. I also have a down mattress cover. No problem fitting over everything with material to spare. The sheets look and feel expense. Happy with my purchase.
Unless you stand by the dryer, this fabric, (perhaps because it's so dense) does wrinkle and ironing is quite a challenge if you're fussy. I found the pillow-cases too long and the inside flap,(called a keeper because it keeps the pillow inside the case) too short. I solved both problems by shortening the cases and extending the "keepers" so that I now have pillow-cases which fit perfectly. The sheets and pillow-cases are exactly as presented but I have learned a less dense fabric would probably suit me better as I too find it does not seem to breathe. The decoration is very attractive (once it's been ironed!).
Just received these sheets in king size
These sheets do wrinkle when washed and dried but taking them out of the dryer quickly will prevent further wrinkling. Very generous fit and do not believe they shrunk at all, which is good. My only pet peeve is the odor on the fabric. I had to put the new sheets through 2 back-to-back washings because they reak of a strong petroleum odor. Even with laundry soap (like I said, 2 washes),and a fabric sheet I can still smell the petroleum odor. Anyone else have this problem? I will try them out but if the odor bothers me at all while sleeping, I will have to return them. No one else has complained of this odor problem that I can see. I hesitate to recommend this product to a friend until I know the odor will disappear.

Very pleased with color and texture. A little wrinkled when out of the dryer, but nothing a quick iron can't fix on the embroidery part.
Beautiful sheets for the price

I purchased these sheets in Grey/ Double size .On first washing and drying they did come out a bit wrinkled.I put them through another rinse cycle and was careful to take them out of the dryer very slightly damp. Just by pullingthe embroidered portions taut by hand and then smoothing by hand I got an excellent result.I found the fit to be perfect on my Double Size bed and think the fabric weight and quality is very good.I do agree with another reviewer that the placket in the pillow case is unnecessary but I think it's minor.I am very pleased with this offering

I loved the quality of the fabric although they are thicker than I expected. I have a thick mattress and could barely put the pocket over the last corner as fitted sheet was VERY tight. They are quite wrinkled when they come out of the dryer but the presenters did say that light ironing would fix that if it bothered you. I have not tried to iron them. I love the color.
