Jessica Jensen Cynthia Shopper

This is my second Jessica Jensen handbag and I'm very impressed by the quality. I have an extensive collection of handbags in many styles, colors and prices. So I have a pretty good idea of what is out there and this is definately a show-off bag. I'm so glad that TSC is carrying this line and the sale price is not too shabby either.

I was so excited to get my Cynthia Shopper from TSC. I had previously purchased the white patent adison envelope and loved the quality, and couldn't resist buying a bigger bag from Jessica Jensen. It fits everything!!! I was also thrilled that the leather was the same as my Italian Saffiano leather wallet by Prada. Especially for the price! It is great that we have an accessibly priced Canadian designer making luxe and durable leather handbags. It seems to also be pretreated because its held up in all these flash rainstorms we've been getting. I'll be back for more!

I am a purse-a-holic and I only have purses made from the real thing as in leather or canvas, or other natural "fabrics", etc. I received this bag today and was disappointed because it doesn't look like real leather nor does it feel like a good leather and the smell is not leather. It's very stiff, hard and spongy, like "pretend" 0r very obvious "faux leather" bags. After all the hype about this line I was expecting the same kind of quality of other new lines at TSC. I have been literally blown away by the quality of two other new lines at TSC but unfortunately this line gets a thumbs down and I will be returning this bag. If it is real leather then I would have to say that the manufacturer did a very good job of making leather look like PVC! Too bad as I love the design (simplicity) and size of this bag. Bring it back in top quality soft pliable real leather (including the strap) and I will buy it.
