Joan Rivers Classic Textured Bead 44" Necklace

I bought this necklace in the silver tone and it is beautiful, classy and elegant. The beads are small but a nice weight. I love the hand knotting in between the beads, which makes it look like a very expensive necklace. It is lovely doubled around the neck and is a perfect alternative to pearls. It fits well under a collar if you like this look and is a good layering piece too. I have bought many of Joan's small bead necklaces over the years and I must say she does them very, very well.

I didn't make a mistake when I ordered the gold tone textured bead necklace. It blends perfectly with my real gold necklace and wearing them together creates a very interesting and beautiful look. Being gold tone it goes very well with everything you are wearing. I love it!

I purchased this necklace in the rose gold to go with real rose gold (high gloss) earrings and rings I already owned. This necklace mixes beautifully with the real gold even though the textures are different - the result looks more interesting. I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of the beads which feels substantial but not too heavy. The small size and texture of the beads make it look elegant. This necklace is easy to put on over your head and you don't have to worry about clasps rolling around your neck - there's no clasp.

I tried wrapping it around my wrist five times and it looked so rich - it drapes, nestling comfortably without rolling off your hand. (I know you can buy matching bracelets but I was concerned they may be too tight for my wrist.) So then I purchased a second necklace. Sometimes I wear the second one as a five-strand bracelet and sometimes I just wear the two necklaces together; either long or doubled. Doubling two necklaces into four strands around the neck is fantastic - so rich for evening wear. It also looks great when you tie a knot at the front - like a "y" necklace. This piece, being so versatile and easy to wear, has become one of my "go-to" options. I also like that the rose gold plating does not wear off with use. I've found this to be a problem with other rose gold plated jewelry but not with this piece. Love it!

A delicate necklace. I bought the rosetone to go with my 14kt rose gold jewellery, and I think it blends nicely. For costume jewellery, it looks very nice, and that is why I gave it 5 stars.
