This necklace is beautiful and sparkly. The rose tone is delicate and feminine. You can take off the pendant and just wear the necklace by itself doubled. The bead necklace is a bit stiff but this allows for it to stay in place.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great look, great value.
The sparkle of real glass and the versatile length is more than worth the sale price, even without the pendant, which is a lovely piece. I chose the silver. It's beautiful and may be worn more ways than I can count.
Buying a second one
I bought the silver one at the initial offering and was disappointed when I rec'd it and agree with the other ratings. I am buying another one in the pink as the longer I have worn it the better it becomes. I receive compliments every time I wear it whether it be in one strand or wrapped for 2 strands.. At this price it is a good deal and I may wear the pink with Joan's long pink pearls which are wonderful.

It grows on You
I agree that for some reason this looked much bigger and more substantial on TV than when I opened the box. It was stiff at first, but it has softened. At first, I was disappointed, however, it looks very pretty with some things and is quite different ( bought the silver)

I have owned this necklace for a while and I am so sorry I kept it. I simply can't get those beads to straighten out. Plus the pendant is so cheap looking. I haven't even worn it yet! Money thrown out - do not buy this!!!

Not impressed at all.........
By Love Clothes
I purchased the silver and my first thought was "blah." The piece is so insubstantial. It lacked size, weight and impact. I agree with the other reviewers that it seemed cheap and child-like. Compared to how it looked on the hosts/models and how it was "hyped up", it fell short in person. My fellow TSC fashionistas (and consumers generally) are very astute. They know want they want, they know quality and they won't settle for less.
Pleased with my purchase
I bought the gold version with black beads. Joan did say that the necklace was going to be a bit stiff until you run your hands along it to loosen it up. I did that and mine hangs beautifully. Even when doubling it up, I don't have a problem with it being too stiff. The beads sparkle and the pendant on mine is very pretty. I find the overall look to be classy in this colour combo.

I was disappointed with the quality of this item.It was very stiff and did not hang properly. I have purchased several of Joan's watches and have been pleased but unfortunately I had to return the necklace.

The necklace was nice but was not one of Joan's best pieces.
