Joan Rivers Signature Cape with Ruching Detail

I love this cape. Get a lot of compliments on it. Store clerks have come up to me and said how great it looked on me. I would have liked to have it in green. I love wearing it.

I just received my cape in Red and I'm thrilled. At 5'3" I'm a bit vertically challenged so the fit is quite good on me. It is rather short waisted for taller gals but I think Joan does that for the effect of longer legs. In any case I don't find it uncomfortable, and though I will wait for slightly warmer weather to wear this it would be warm enough on sunnier days with a warm sweater underneath. Perfect for Spring and Fall, and what great details in the leopard lining and the cinched in waist. Love, love, love the fabric..and the fact that it's shower proof...especially in our west coast climate. Joan doesn't miss a fashion beat when it comes to this darling cape. I gave it four stars because of the short waist but in every other way it gets full marks. Thank you Joan and TSC!

I bought this cape without even seeing it on the program because I knew if it was Joan's it would be terrific.

I love this jacket. Have always liked the look of capes but they didn't look great on me but the ruching on this style gives me a waist so is much more flattering but still has the style of a cape. Love the water resistant fabric and the leopard lining is a delightful touch. Even the buttons add a stylish touch. Definitely a keeper for me!

Retro,girly,modern,vintage,cute,trendy,chic, sophisticated,elegant,designer,feminine. Perfection at it's finest. Would like to see cape in sherbet orange,lipstick red,white and lime green. I'd buy all colours!!! At 5'11 fit is bang on. P.S 2nd fashion purchase. Many more to come!

I'm giving this jacket 5 stars even though I have to send it back. I absolutely love the style,the colour (stone) and the fabrication as usual on Joan's pieces is wonderful, but it's just not right on me. I'm petite and am addicted to cute jackets/capes as long as they don't overpower me. I loved the fact that this was cinched in at the waist but even though I'm petite the waist seems too high - maybe it's meant to be like that, but I feel like I have to keep pulling it down. I find the sleeves, with the cinched waist just look too wide on me. Yes, I do recommend this lovely cape, but for me, regrettably, it's slightly "off". But thanks Joan....your clothes are impeccably made.

There is nothing negative to say about this garment. The design, fabric and construction of this cape is second to none. It is true to size
and the tabs inside are somewhat adjustable. I ordered the black and stone colors, and while the stone is not the color for me because I feel it is more of a yellow toned khaki,I will be keeping the black.
Also if it comes back in the future I will order it in more colors. I feel it is a year round garment and is just fabulous. Definately worth the price.

This is such a pretty cape! I ordered the fuschia pink with leopard and I'm so sorry that I have to send it back. Truth is, the fit is wonky. It's SO short in the body that the rutched area comes over the bust on me instead of the waist. The length is also VERY short which is normal on Joan Rivers jackets. I just cannot wear them. I tried moving up a size on these and then they just look too big and ill fitting as well. I guess they are best on someone as petite as Joan but now as I watch the video on TSC I see that this cape appears short on the models too. Too bad because the fabrication is lovely on this one and the colour is beautiful too.
